Kohra (رہ()ک Urdu - fog or mist) is a versatile and forward-thinking dj / producer. He expresses his visual and aural sensibilities via Qilla (قلعه Urdu - fort or castle) Records which he set up in 2011 to promote a wide range of underground music from India and across the world.

The Koi is an alternative/indie band from Manipur, India. The five members; Rishikesh Thangjam, Kamlesh Khundrakpam, Nongpok Arambam, Kumarjit Huirem and Sumit Lukram came together as ‘The Koi’ sometime in 2012. Jyotin Elangbam joined the band on drums in 2018, adding his touch of subtle percussive expressions to the overall sound the band has been developing since its early beginnings.
Rishikesh is the songwriter/singer of the group while the rest juggle guitars, keyboard, and percussion. Their proficiency in western classical guitar and an innate affinity to folk music of the region gives their music a character of freshness of sound and approach. A mixture of diverse and sometimes contradictory influences and inspirations, which is The Koi, is held together by an unmistakable sincerity. Koi, literally meaning ‘beard’ in Manipuri, is a signifier they have chosen to represent the essence of their music - instinctive, raw, and blithe. Childhood friends for long, the five eventually coalesced their musical pursuits and, during one of their many casual jam sessions in Shillong, ‘The Koi’ was brought about. 
Webcasted amateur recordings of their first few songs in English with just a laptop and a cheap mic garnered tremendous acclaim. Buoyed by the favorable response of a widening fan-base they broadened their repertoire to encompass the Manipuri language. They began composing Manipuri songs penned by the renowned late playwright Arambam Samarendra, who is also father to Nongpok. Their musical trans creation of the cherished text lends it a new incarnation and reaffirms the burgeoning of a musical tradition. 
They broke into the scene with ‘The Koi - the journey so far’ their debut concert held in Imphal in January 2014. Their performance was commended as a very original blend of native and western musical influences by many among the audience comprising of an assorted demographic of music lovers of the region. 
They released their debut album, Episode 1 in 2014.
They have released a follow up E.P “Eigi Wabu Ningshingduna” on You Tube on June 2018. And, three singles “Khangdaba Kaya Wangmada” on 2019 and “Lon Na Paokhong Challibi” on 2020 and “Leichil” on 2021 was released on Youtube.

Imphal Talkies was formed in 2008 by Akhu Chingangbam with Sachin Angom and Riki Chingangbam. The band released its debut album Tiddim Road in 2009. The band releases its music under its own record label Oomorock Records. Raju Athokpam, a software engineer, joined the band in 2009 March. The band dedicated a song “Eche” in 2010 to Irom Sharmila, a lady who has been on hunger strike since Novemeber 2000 as an act protest demanding the repeal of the draconian act, Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958. The Imphal Music Project was concieved by Akhu to create a platform among artists from Indian sub continent. And the project has released two songs. The band is currently working on the second album "When the Home is Burning", plan to release in October 2012

Ben Howard returns with his 4th album, Collections From The Whiteout, produced alongside Aaron Dessner (The National). The foreboding darkness that coated Ben’s second record I Forget Where We Were and thinly veiled its follow up Noonday Dream, isn’t so evident on Collections. These are songs written from headlines scanned, or news stories scrolled past, providing inspiration for a selection of vivid narrative snapshots – the death of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst (Crowhurst’s Meme); Russian fraudster Anna Sorokin (Sorry Kid); the man who stole and crashed a plane in Seattle (The Strange Last Flight Of Richard Russell); and the dismembered body a friend of his father found in a suitcase floating along the Thames (Finders Keepers). Alongside them, the personal anecdotes from the same scattered period living between Paris, Devon and Spain. Yussef Dayes features, as does Kate Stables (This Is The Kit), James Krivchenia (Big Thief), Kyle Keegan (Hiss Golden Messenger), and Dessner. Thomas Bartlett, St. Vincent’s go-to pianist, and Rob Moose, a long-standing arranger of strings for Bon Iver, are also present. Long-term guitarist to Ben’s band, Mickey Smith (A Blaze of Feather), remains a reassuring constant. It’s a sonic adventure that continues this nagging suggestion that Ben is one of the UK’s most inventive and naturally talented songwriters. CFTW is his latest opus, and arguably his most fully realised to date.

However, caught between the lines, were few words that made us believe in an existence of a route, leading towards contentment. No second opinion was involved. There was nothing to loose. Our small realm was in need of expansion. We were happy despite all the hurdles we have ahead. The journey began so."
