BIO:
Dennis Hogeling (Dreamcap) began his music career in his hometown Arnhem, The Netherlands. From a young age, he was mixing and spinning records. Since 2009, Dennis has been producing his own music tracks since 2012, he signed with Cyndium B.V. under the artist name ‘Tharum’ and performed at over 50 events until 2015.
Starting in 2015, he took a three-year break from DJing to pursue his Master’s degree in Tilburg. Afterward, he embarked on a world trip, during which he discovered a passion for summer/dance house and tech-house. Since then, he has been producing house music with influences from hard dance styles and cheerful melodies. 😊

Various styles of music really grab my attention; Classical, Electronic, Jazz… Grew up appreciating the rock and disco records my brothers left lying around. Took up the piano at an early age after hearing my Mom play. Began playing in church and also began playing  percussion in high school and went on to study music in University. Enjoyed the synth sounds prevalent in 80’s music and smile every time I think of the days of my childhood roller skating at the roller rink listening to disco and 80’s music.  In the 90’s I  discovered all the genres I love and simply referred to them all as Techno. The live vinyl mix on my local radio station on Friday kept me tuning in.  I couldn’t wait to try out new music I found and drive everywhere listening to it the rest of the week. There was something about that driving beat and especially when it was blended with classical sounding music that got me hooked. I eventually found out most of the music and the artists I kept coming back to the most were producing in a style called Trance.  Once I had a genre name to look for, I knew which section of the Virgin record  store in Grapevine Mills to walk towards first. I distinctly remember looking on the internet for the artists on the CD’s I bought and finding out the various artist aliases I liked were some of the same producers. Fast forward 15 years while enjoying a career in sales, I finally pulled out my old Korg keyboard from 1993 and bought some software and picked back up where I left off with my love of creating and enjoying music! A couple good friends let me play and mix on their CDJ’s during a birthday party and I was in love! I Hope you enjoy my tracks! It's only a hobby, but I love ❤ it!
I´m married, two sweet girlies and my wife, who gives me the time I need.
I've actually been making music since 1996.  At that time, however, self-distribution was impossible.  I sent countless demos back then, but unfortunately nothing came of it (see Playlist Unreleased Tracks, some of the tracks are from that time).
From 2009-2015 I took a musical break, after that I started again.
My parents had a couple of records that I used to listen to when I was a little boy, including one by Jean-Michell Jarre.  I guess that was my motivation to make music myself.
