He asked the DJs to select a theme for their night sets. So I turned into the event’s community Facebook group and gave them a few options (exactly as below)

1. Sing-along Jams  (Well-known singalong favorites that we can zouk and singalong to 🎤🎶👩‍🎤) 
2. Wild & Tribal (Zoukable tribal & deep house-ish + some other wild good stuff to get us in our inner animal zone 🦁🐯) 
3. Acoustic Emotions (beautiful acoustic songs, with and without singers, will also include a lot of my guitar 🎸 ) 
4. BDSM  (Deep, Drama, Sexy AF, Fifty Shades 😅… I’ll let your imagination work on this one 😂)


#1 chosen topic was BDSM & 2nd winner: Wild & Tribal. “Acoustic Emotions” was only a few votes short of #2

This was my first time ever DJing at the Istana, in Uluwatu. 🌴

And my third time DJing for a DōJō Contact Jam. (The first 2 were at Moksa, in Ubud.) 💃

I love that I have so many opportunities to play completely different styles of music, and still find my own flavor within all of them. 🔥

These dances have a very special place in my heart. DJing sitting on the floor, as if at a tea ceremony. The slow tempo. The spaciousness. The connection and embodiment of the dancers. SUCH a vibe.
