My mission and calling is to spread the GOOD NEWS of the gospel to all willing vessels with ears to hear and eyes to see  JESUS as Lord and Savior. My method is unique in its own way. My style is like no other. My message is that of SALVATION. I once was lost but now I'm found.I know it is my duty to proclaim  the name above all names in song. I worship the Lord my GOD in spirit and truth. I am blessed so I feel I should BLESS others. As a youth my passion for music was evident. Growing up I experienced many trials and fell victim to my circumstances (thank God for JESUS). At the age of 8 I entered my first talent show and knew after that experience what I was meant to do. I didn't realize that God had his righteous right hand upon me because I didn't know HIM. I went to church maybe two or three times as a child and those visits only occurred on Easter. I pursued my passion but fell short. The music I produced was pleasing to the ear but damaging to the soul. Deep inside I was empty and ashamed,but didn't understand why. I had conformed to the worlds standards not realizing GOD had set me aside for kingdom work. My teen years was both exciting and depressing. Label deals came and went. Doors opened and closed. I had a large following and surrounded myself with ungodly people. Ultimately my lack of knowledge lead me into a downward spiral of destructive behavior. Alcohol and drugs became my safe-haven and problems with the authorities soon became my reality. It wasn't until I feed up with being feed up when I heard the voice of the Lord as clear and audible as my music. I was incarcerated for something I didn't do and very bitter and angry at my life. I realized at that moment that there is an unseen GOD.The Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance all my past mischievous activities I had gotten away with-without suffering any consequences. On that cold day in a lonely cell, I picked up a bible for the first time in my life. I read and studied it diligently. Upon my release I had a new mind,spirit ,soul and outlook on life. What once was fun had become detestable and what  I once considered fairytale was now very real. I went to church for the first time as an adult in 2008 and have been going ever since.This is a piece of my story, this book is being updated everyday. My walk with Christ has not been all peaches and cream (LOL). But I am better than I was yesterday and ten times better than I was ten years ago. It's a journey I am more than willing to take. Vee The Vision (or VRO Versuz) is a Rapper/Documentarian born in New York City of Afro-Latino descent. At age 7, Vee began writing poetry based on his feelings in retort to his everyday experiences. His writing eventually developed a rhythm. By the time he was 12 he decided to work hard to achieve his dream of becoming a successful artist. During his school years, Vee has participated in choir and has been the protagonist of several plays. While attending the High School for Media and Communication, Vee was also part of Columbia University’s Double Discovery Center, where along with academic enrichment he studied stage acting, music and film. He graduated with honors from Columbia’s DDC program. Vee raps and sings over instrumentals with a smooth delivery which at times switches into a rapid flow. He is considered an Alternative artist due to his fusions of Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, Jazz and Latin rhythms. A prime example would be his single “Style From Venus.” In this Rock/80's Pop mash-up, the main topic is a woman with an open mind and excellent sense of fashion, which Vee finds so rarely impressive that he states “she must get her style from Venus.” Notable topics in Vee's music include several comic book references, which also tie into struggle, success, love, karma, and deception. His nickname "Verro Versuz (The World)" was developed to portray a symbol for the raging voice of rebellious outcasts. Vee himself was bullied at a young age for having a distinct interest in comic books. His debut mixtape "VERSUZ THE WORLD" is now available. He has had several notable performances at events which include the Hispanic Day Parade in NYC, Top Model Fashion shows, and music festivals amongst many others. While Hip-Hop and Rock are Vee's native genres, he has managed to also make his way into the Latino market by throwing his urban style onto genres such as Merengue, Bachata and others with his group SYRO, featuring Jhelsy Paula and Louis Paulino. Aside from music, Vee is also an actor and has appeared in several independent American films, as well as the Dominican television series “Mortales.” He currently produces and directs films inspired by his own poetry. His award-winning documentary, LOOK AT US NOW: A COMIC BOOK MOVIE, has appeared in over 60 film festivals worldwide.
