This song from Juna's perspective is a fun upbeat
shout-out to all the men also known as "boys" in our
song, that wear boots. Cowboys are the obvious for a
country singer, however, as Joey points out in the
chorus "God Bless Boys in Boots". Joey notes,
"When we were writing this song we realized that not
just cowboys wear boots". "For instance, military
men, ranchers, country singers, construction workers
and police officers for example". Hence the lyric Joey
sings in the chorus "God Bless Boys in Boots". All
"Boys in Boots" for all that they do for this country.
Juna's favorite lines in the song are, "I go crazy for
Lucchese's and kickin up dust in a dance hall".
"Lovin me blue Wranglers and good manners" "I
mean who wouldn't like a guy that can dance and has
good manners". She points out, "At the time we
weren't thinking this could be a pitch opportunity yet,
our team thought of it right away".
"And as it turned out Wrangler has now sponsored
Joey and I. It's so cool that "Boys in Boots" are the
same guys who wear Wranglers.
