Embroidered in music culture from a young age, Ibizan born, Berlin based, Carlota has been an omnipresent force despite bursting onto the scene just a few years back. A sound engineer by trait as well as a composer and live performer, her surprise 2018 production debut on Nina Kraviz’s трип was met with huge admiration and she has continued to stake her claim among the leading dance music contemporaries with a string of standout follow up releases.

Running her label Modex 21 and the party series Catharsis, Toxido Mask also operates under the alias Julia Żyła, where she purely focuses on ambient and experimental works. Her approach to music and her sensitivity towards moods and the power of our surroundings are absolutley captivating and leave no doubt why Toxido Mask is one of Berlin's most exciting electronic artists at the moment.
