VKP (Vijana Kwa Pulpit) is an urban gospel group from Kenya, made up of brothers Fatha Lody, Walman and Trigga. 

The three make up probably one of the best gospel outreach and entertainment groups from Africa in these times.

Their musical journey dates way back to 2003 but it is in December 2011 that VKP came into existence. Previously they had recording stints as solo artists where they had worked with several producers to sharpen their song writing skills before meeting up Saint P their producer who then was working at Homeboyz Studios.

Genre

VKP are fronting their new style known as SocaPuka, Which they say is a fusion of Kapuka and Soca music. The style is greatly influenced by the Kenyan sound, Kapuka but is more of African beats laced with street rap and mostly Swahili vocals though English is also fronted.
