These are stories of the future, adventures in which you'll live in a million could be years on a thousand maybe worlds". Astounding Science Fiction is Chili Banks' 3rd full length LP since the inception of Junglist Manifesto Recordings in 2009. 

The album is a themed album based on old time radio science fiction stories from the 40's and 50's. The stories first appeared in pulp magazines of the same era written by some huge names in sci-fi as well as some obscure ones. 

The tracks are audio vignettes, they are stand alone stories from a time when the world and universe was a less discovered place. 
Science fiction samples are mixed with organic drum sounds, sub basses, and a mix of new and old techniques.

The album serves as an exploration in the art of sampling and takes a step outside of dance floor Jungle/Drum & Bass. The album features 2 heavy hitting remixes by producer Bay B Kane. Join us on a trip through the universe.

Chili Banks "Edit Your Drums" L.P. is Chili's second full length album in as many years. This time around he's pushing the drum edits and crate digging vocals. The album drops July 15, 2011.

Chili Banks' passion lies in Producing and Djing Jungle. Chili's passion began with late 80's Hip-Hop when he fell in love with the art of sampling and beat making. In 1994 he was drawn into Toronto's emerging underground rave scene. As the years past, he has worked as a Promoter, DJ, & Artist.

In 1998 he began producing his own brand of Jungle/ Drum & Bass. Some still describe his style as "Old School". He believes in the sound that he grew up on, call it what you will "Old School" or "True School" to him it's simply JUNGLE. Heavily edited drum breaks and sub-basslines are a must. Finding interesting and dynamic samples is just par for the course. His sample database continues to grow on a daily basis.

Over the past 10 years Chili has played at various clubs across Toronto, and throughout Ontario, as well as on the other side of the world in K.L. Malaysia. In 2010 Chili has been playing in Edinburgh, (UK) for Xplicit @ their huge Jungledub nights.

In 2006, he began the event promotion company Science Productions, along with DJs Ghaleon and Basketballjones to promote the true Jungle sound old and new with "We're Old School" and his own "Children of the DrumS" parties. He has worked along side some of the worlds elite DJs and Producers, promoting good Jungle.

Bay B Kane returns after a long hiatus with his new full length L.P. "Jungle Love" A selection of laid back bad ass amen popping beats and sub basslines to warm the soul of any Junglist. The man returns with the sound that should have never left jungle in the first place. True School all the way

Bay B Kane began producing with Hip-Hop in 1986, and was quickly signed to T.U.F. Records where he began polishing his production craft. Flash to 3 years later he was hungry to really break through. BBK teamed up with Mr.E and started fusing Techno sounds with Breakbeats. The 2 formed "Break The Limits" & after a huge first release the duo got signed to XL Recordings.

In 1992 he launched Ruff Guidance Records & re-branded to who we now know as the legendary Bay B Kane! 1993 rolled in & BBK hooked up with Whitehouse Records. He released a slew of releases & did remixes for some of the biggest names in the history of Jungle. During this time he collaberated with the likes of PESHAY / MICKEY FINN / DARREN JAY / DJ TONIC(Para-T) / HOPPA / CHRIS ENERGY / LOXY / COOL HAND FLEX.... & released tunes under the monikers BAY B KANE / RINCA / ICON / KID THUNDER / INTELLIGENT JUNGLIST / DOUBLE TEE / MYSTRO / THE ROOD PROJECT / DARKENATOR.

During the period from 1989 to 1997 BBK released over 200 tracks on vinyl! After which he took a 13 year hiatus to get an Honors Degree at university, and move forward with other aspects of his life. In 2010 he decided to come back out of retirement. We are sure glad he did. BBK has joined us in 2011 to release his highly musical, smooth & hard album "Jungle Love".

Bay B Kane Presents: The United Nations of Jungle is a collection of 19 Jungle artists from the world over. They all came together with one goal in mind. This was to create tunes that carried the same vibe as the old school tunes of the early 90's. This project was put together by legendary producer and Junglist Manifesto artist Bay B Kane. All of the artists involved used samples from the classic Bay B Kane "Have a Break" sample pack. What emerged is an absaloute smashing tear out of an album. It could alomost be considered a double album with it's booming 19 tracks.

The artists on this are Hidden Turn, Nino Kawasaki, Chili Banks, Bay B Kane, J Bostron, DJ Lab, Nickynutz, Junglefever, Sound Shifter, RF Project, Phuture T, DJ Aitch, DJ Ruesta, FFF, Rawkus, The Grim Speaker, Commie Dread, Terminus & Shoco.
