I am a songwriter from Belfast. I record my own songs at home (unless otherwise stated) with a pretty basic set-up. I usually like to keep things simple as I think that a good song should stand on its own, when stripped back of superfluous baggage.
I play a few different instruments but mainly guitar and piano. I have been trying to play slide guitar.
 I record in as few takes as possible. I don't like my own voice and don't really listen to my own work after I have recorded and mixed it. I hope some people out there enjoy it, I get a kick out of writing and recording, and playing the occasional gig. I am in this for the long haul but I don't suppose I'll go far.
 I will try to upload as much as possible. Most of these tracks will probably be rough home demos and possibly a few covers as well. Thank you for stopping by my page. Please feel free to add me via Youtube as well.

Patrick McFerran is a songwriter from Belfast United Kingdom.  He is a regular of the Belfast music scene and gigs regularly. He has recently been picked up by a local independent label, Ravenhill Records, and has had a song played on a station in Hull England; the song was called "Poverty 101," and the station was EGH Radio.  

He has recently rebranded himself to his twitter name, @pmcf4, and has formed a three piece band.
