A MOUSE!” roared the lion, the wretch terrified
it spoke with a small sense of hope in its mind.
it uttered the words desperation brought forth,
its last chance for freedom, and so it spoke north

assured to indemnify, to that I attest
I don’t look the part, but your eyes may deceive
to make me your friend would be far from naive”

a short time had passed since the lion set free,
the creature who stumbled among the great beast
but soon a reversal of fortune would strike
stuck in despair he had tussled for life
The lion now captured had called with loud roars
The mouse heard his call and arrived at the source
he saw this as chance to repay the kind king
with favours to be shared alike

Jeffrey Popiel(Juniperus) is located in Saskatchewan, Canada. Jeffrey started playing his first instrument in grade school in band class; the tuba. Recording music became a passion quickly after it became a reality. With this passion, he began collecting instruments, though one might say "he collects timbres." Jeffrey is a composer and song-writer for two of his projects: Juniperus, and Minor Matter.
