A relationship song.  A song with symbolism, innuendo and up for personal interpretation.  This song is about trying to hang onto the things that matter and letting go of what doesn’t.  Fix what's worth fixing, don't walk away and brush it off as 'C'est la vie'.    We need to feel comfortable in any relationship.  Things sometimes come to us easy but can also be easily lost.  It’s important to take a step back during these experiences and take it all in, do an emotional inventory and change along the way.  If you've made the effort and it didn't happen then... easy come, easy go.

Notes
Richard Dawkins is one of the greatest thinkers of our time and possibly the very best at articulating our reality as he honestly sees it. He fights ignorance with such pure truth I'd be scared to debate him on the spirit world .. But I would love to and I think there's a very real conversation to be had asking him how he fills the gaps in science about consciousness and his dismissal of spiritually and an afterlife given those limited explanations of our conscious world... Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist and a wonderful author.

This song was inspired largely by Dawkins and his want, now to project what he sees as the purest of poetry... The truth about our existence. He is well worth a permanent rabbit hole along with his team mate Professor Neil Di Grasse Tyson an Astrophysicist.

So I guess this song is giving them a hand.

Joining me very so amazingly is Scratch Kelly, Sarah from Australia. When I finished making the song Sarah came into my mind immediately as the perfect voice to accompany me. Then Sarah messaged me on another track well we have the wonderful result of our first and without doubt not our last collaboration. Thanks a million Sarah and fair play for making this perfect.

From my few short chats with Sarah I believe we both have a nice grounded view on reality but also like to be philosophical about life in healthy doses. I guess that's where we might find some new normals we can all enjoy together on this planet and that makes me happy to have those positive thoughts to bring from now into the future , expand them and continue our beautiful journey of sharing. This collaboration is a wonderful highlight of that being effortless if we want it to be and still as fruitful as ever. This is true Poetry in Reality as Sir Richard Dawkins wants us to project ✨ & quite poetically we are 17,695 km apart. Thanks Planet Earth and Thank you infinity Sarah

The name JunkHeap came from creating song ideas and leaving them for later, and then picking through the junk heap of ideas to enhance a new song idea.  Explore my discography, find something you like.
