Ben Rygen (Lukáš Kutěj) is a 24-year-old DJ and producer from the Czech Republic. Active since 2019, he delivers high-energy drum & bass sets—from dancefloor and jump up to darker neurofunk—while also exploring dubstep, frenchcore, and uptempo. Since 2024 he’s been focused on public events and runs his own parties in the Zlín region, supporting the underground scene and new talents.

EQUM got raised by heavy music and distortion early on and until now he's a guy addicted to showing people stuff that drives him. Later in his life  his distortion addiction reached a new level by experiencing his first raves.

Besides playing his first gigs he also started to study soundengineering and making his first steps to produce his own music.
aequum's clubsets are packed with a variety of nasty distorted synths and fast kicks to drive people to their limits.
But he's also heavily influenced by each electronic music that has a  hard sounding subgenre in it.
