Eternal loop

This is a live recording without any editing of the original piano solo music created by Jean Rondeau (aged 22!) for the contemporary dance creation Sinami by italian choregrapher Cosetta Graffione. You will hear the dancer moving around the piano and humming a tune, this is normal because it's simply the live performance as it was recorded on its première 2014 02 06. Jean played a Yamaha piano of the dance conservatory near Paris where the event took place.

Voici l’enregistrement en concert sans aucun montage de la musique pour piano solo créée par Jean Rondeau (âgé de 22 ans !) pour la création de danse contemporaine Sinami de la chorégraphe italienne Cosetta Graffione. Vous entendrez la danseuse bouger autour du piano et fredonner un air, c’est tout à fait normal puisqu’il s’agit d’une captation sans retouche de la première du spectacle qui a eu lieu le 6 février 2014. Jean jouait sur un piano Yamaha appartenant au conservatoire de danse de Villejuif près de Paris où a lieu cet évènement.

"Alive In The Living Room - The Remixes" constitutes the second phase of the release "Alive in the Living Room - على قيد الحياة في غرفة القعدة" by Richie Culver.

In contrast to the original piece, where vocals were intentionally absent, simulating a state of sleep paralysis, and the lyrics confined solely to the written page, they find their voice in this rendition. Additionally, the sound mass comes to life in two distinct remixes crafted by Pessimist and bod [包家巷].

CCL launches their subglow label with Rebuild, an EP from Bristol club provocateur @georg-i, featuring remixes from @Metrist and the elusive B. McQueen.

Rebuild is influenced by math rock's feverish and cataclysmic energy, eschewing conventional club BPMs in favour of dizzying tempo trickery and polymetric wizardry. “Torn In Two” gets off to a slow, chugging start, with raucous synths riffing over emphatic drums, but soon swirls into a juddering, pointillistic frenzy. “Bridging The Gap” is a cathartic shout, an acidic crescendo whose triplet meter offers tempo-transitioning opportunities for adventurous DJs who don’t mind a bit of maths. “Communication” gallops along cathartically through ricocheting synths and drums, unfolding into a thrilling breakdown. On remix duties, B. McQueen re-imagines “Torn In Two” as a sultry, dubbed-out roller, charting groove across a heady plain, while Metrist’s ambitious rework of “Communication” amps up the tension and primes it for a peak-time dancefloor sometime in the next millennium.
