43 Years at the Forefront of the Brazilian Electronic Scene *
With more than 40 years of career as a DJ Magal has been at the forefront of the Brazilian underground scene as resident of the legendary clubs Madame Satã, Rose Bom Bom, Cais and Hoellisch, Columbia, Stereo, Vegas, D-Edge, Lions Club, Club Jerome and specially the famous Cio party which he co-founded.  His extensive musical background made him an essential character in the history of the electronic scene, spreading genres such as Post-Punk, Synth-Pop, Industrial, Electro, Electronic Body Music (EBM), Acid House and Techno through his formidable sets. His sense of boldness, vanguardism and deep music research granted repertories of genres that influenced the Electronic Music played today. Owner of a vast music knowledge, he has already been invited to play in important festivals such as Nokia Trends-SP, Sònar-SP, Spirit Of London-SP, Locca Festival Open Air (Weimar-Germany), Skol Beats-SP, Tribaltech Reborn-PR, Injeção Eletronica -SC, Dekmantel SP 2018, Time Warp SP 2018, Virada Cultural SP 2023 and Festival Não Existe SP 2024 opening to Dopplereffekt. Abroad, his fame earned him invitations to play in Paris, London, Glasgow, Barcelona, ​​Santiago, Viña Del Mar, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin, Leipzig and Weimar. He won the award for best Electro DJ in 2004 by the specialized magazine DJ Sound. His sets are posted on Tim Sweeney DFA's critically acclaimed NYC Beats in Space, Boiler Room, Amsterdam's Red Light Radio and Lot Radio NYC. He was DJing professor in the Electronic Music Production Course at University Anhembi-Morumbi for 14 years, DJ Magal is a monthly guest of the most important conceptual nights in Brazil such as ODD, Capslock and Blum.  Magal also produces and curates the monthly program Radiografia, which is hosted by the online radio Na Manteiga, where he brings relevant guests from the Brazilian electronic scene. Boldness, charisma and attitude make his presentations impossible to forget, full of strength and history.

Berlin-based Musician/DJ riding the next wave acid halo into the sun-shattered dusk.

On albums, Dame Bonnet joins on Bass as well as the Curses (live) tours and concerts.

The new album ‘Another Heaven’ just released with legendary Synth-wave label, Italians Do It Better, co-produced by Johnny Jewel. Curses has also done vocals for Artists such as Âme ('Shadow of Love'), on legendary Berlin-label Innervisions, keeping true to his punk and new wave approach on electronic music. Previous albums released on Dischi and fashion house, Saint Laurent. Curses has brought his unique sound to iconic venues such at DC-10 and festivals like Nuits Sonores and Grauzone, as well his residency at Berlin’s infamous Pornceptual party. Hosting a Monthly radio show, Together Alone, on Rinse FM France, Curses has also released various EP's and singles with labels such as, Oráculo, Bordello a Parigi, Running Back, and Wrong Era.
Curses is responsible for curating the acclaimed vinyl compilation series and party, Next Wave Acid Punx, showcasing a passion for New Beat, Early E.B.M, Post-punk and obscure Italo, which continues to gain a passionate cult following worldwide, including multiple support from BBC Radio 6.

Curses continues to bring a romantic and punk energy to the club, threading the ethereal nostalgia of the 80s and 90s into the future of now.

Fabio Spavieri descobriu a música eletrônica através de bandas como Depeche Mode, Human League, Kraftwerk e Front 242 aos 16 anos, e desde 1990 está envolvido com a cena paulistana de música eletrônica. Começou na gravadora - Cri Du Chat Disques - pioneira no segmento, onde com apoio da mesma, produziu o primeiro festival de música eletrônica do Brasil, com patrocínio da Roland. De lá pra cá passou por clubes importantes como: Columbia, Mood, Madame Satã, Pacha e D-EDGE - onde é residente e também produz e faz a curadoria do Superafter (after hours que acontece aos domingos).

Paralelamente desenvolve (desde 1992) o trabalho de criação, direção de arte e produção de eventos, do corporativo ao artístico. Atualmente tem uma agência online - SSD/COM, que cuida da comunicação de restaurantes, bares e cafés.

Após 31 anos a frente de uma cabine, percebe-se influências de rock, de electro, acid house e techno em seus sets, calcados por nuances distintas mas intrinsecamente ligadas.
