On Sunday, September 5, 2021 REFORM will be taking over the bustling and historic bi-level Catch One venue with a 4-room House + Techno lineup. Located on Pico Avenue near Downtown Los Angeles, Catch One originally opened in 1973 and was the longest-running black gay dance bar in the city. It now serves as one of LA's premiere multi-purpose venues, making it an ideal space for REFORM to host 20+ Techno, House and Experimental artists across four rooms.

In a clashing of dancefloor titans, Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones joins forces with Cuttin’ Headz curators The Martinez Brothers in the studio for the first time to churn out their new, slamming and anthemic tune 'Bappi' - set to drop on October 11 via Hot Creations.

“After being friends and DJing together for so many years, the bro’s and I finally got into my studio in LA together at the start of the year," Jones explains. We had a few sessions which was so easy and productive from the offset. We jammed out some songs, and this is the first to be released, it’s been a huge bomb for us this summer!"

Premiere: Jamie Jones & The Martinez Brothers 'Bappi'

Growing up surrounded by many musical influences Mark Fahey found music and sound gave some of the most intense pleasures in life. In his late teens he mastered the art of the turntable. At age 20 he started making a living filling dance floors in clubs, discos,  and events in California, which earned him the name California Disco Legend Mark Fahey later in life. He started producing a limited amount of original music in 1996 - 1998 using it in his personal library at events. As a youth, having  been 'programed' by his Father’s eclectic taste for rare rhythm heavy music, it was instantly easy for him to interpret the ever changing genres of music into crowd pleasing aural journeys even early in his DJ career, Mark says “ you have to get into the dancer’s head” -

Contemporary styles mixed with classics in an eclectic stew.
