Born in Manhattan, Raised in the Bronx, New York City with Strong Puerto Rican Roots, and growing up with a diverse racial circle of friends, DJ MARKO POLO has been continuously pushing the envelope with his unique musical styling that is both compelling and heart-pounding. As a child in the 70's Marko would wake up to the vibrant Latin sounds of Puente, Pacheco, Palmieri, Celia and the Fania Allstars and the soul of Motown and Doo Wops. Growing up in the early 80's he witnessed first hand the birth and rise of a new Culture that involved DJ's Scratching, Brothers Emm-Ceeing, B-Boys Breaking and Graffiti Artist bombing the system with their Burners. That Culture was called Hip Hop and it would carve a foundation in Markos heart for music. As a teenager saw the emergence of Freestyle at the Devils Nest, and in the late 80's embraced a new type of sound called House Music that would speak volumes world wide. 

His diverse background in music and over 20 years in the game as a DJ has given Marko Polo a wide range of influences to incorporate into his mixes and productions, giving him a sound that is truly his own. Marko's passion for music has allowed him to gain friends and fans throughout the USA, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, England and Japan. He successfully headlined many of NYC's Hottest Night Clubs including, Les Poulets, The Supper Club NY, The Copacabana, Latin Quarters, The Limelight, The China Club, The Tunnel, Club America, Cafe Remy, Sequoia, Nells, Side Street, Jimmy's Bronx Cafe and many many more. His knowledge and skill of mixing all styles from all genre's of music is rare. Where most DJ's today specialize in one style of music or another, DJ MARKO POLO has truly mastered them all. From being one of the original true mix DJ's in Salsa to a scratch artist in Hip Hop and to keeping smooth tight blends and mixes in R&B, House and Reggae Marko's skill is uncanny. His achievements have earned him praise and notoriety throughout the Business and Entertainment community building solid relationships with many Sports figures, Artist, Musicians and Corporate clients. DJ Marko Polo continues to host and headline events packing the dance floors and keeping the crowd moving and today he still remains an undeniable force on the music scene.

NYC Based DJ playing AfroTechSoul, Soulful House, Afro House and Minimal Music.

Born with Jazz and Reggae in her ear and Funk in her heart. It’s a logical progression that DJ Zion would evolve into musical landscape artistry. She began her quest of creative journeys at a young age while studying vocals and violin at a New York City Public school in the heart of Hip Hop’s founding backyard, Jamaica, Queens. Her love of dance has inspired her hands behind the wheels of steel to transform her musical soul and self-expression to a whole new level. DJ Zion is a House Music DJ playing AfroTechSoul. A sonic melting pot of Soulful, Afro, Global Soul, Minimal and Tech grooves. NY and NJ based. Playing music on stages large and small actively since 2014.  Founder of Yemoja SOL the internationally acclaimed podcast a musical diary of love and emotion since 2011. This journey spreads the LOVE of house music from a dancer turned DJ. Zion has shared the stage in NY/NJ with such legends as Tony Humphries, Timmy Regisford, ANANE, and Hector Romero. She has graced the stage at home and abroad with countless keepers of the craft Jihad Muhammad, Celeste Alexander, Coflo, Mark Francis, DJ Beloved, Naeem Johnson, Mikki Afflick, and Mark Lewis. She has also performed internationally in London’s Club - Alibi at ESCO and Afro Soulfest 2023 St. Lucia with Ian Friday and Herb Martin and AfroSoulFest 2024 Curacao with DJ Sres, Tyrone Francis, Duane Powell and Steve Maxwell.  

In addition she is a trained dancer, and a High School Culinary Arts Instructor for over 28 years. She has imparted her love of music into her work with children, in collaboration with SunDog Theatre.  She taught Music Appreciation to high school students for 11 years. The program exposed students to Western Classical music, as well as, music of the African Diaspora. The program won numerous grants and was supported by various Arts organizations in the state. 

Her love for house music began when local Harlem DJ’s travelled to the Catskills and spent the summer at “camp” which she attended for seven summers in her youth. When she wasn’t on her skates, there was definitely a wooden dance floor she was on from NYC to London. A chance entry into the famed Garage nightclub at the age of 16 would inspire her to dance and travel the world searching for rhythms and dance floors to groove.

Her metamorphosis from singer, dancer, actor, chef, photographer, to DJ is an evolution of a journey that is predetermined and colorful in it’s voyage. As an underground artist she is well sought after and yearns to move a dance floor near you. For the love of Dance, for the love of House…L.O.V.E.

The history of the Chicago House Sound is etched in stone. Club and radio dj's that contributed to this genre in it's heydays have reunited as a team under the MASTERMIX 6. The team consists of six musically talented and well established individuals who have joined to share our music history dating back to the 70s. My name is Marco Gerssen from Amsterdam.

My pasion for house music started late 80's by listening to Hip house, Chicago Soulful, Club house.

I decided to spin the records after listening to live DJ sets on the Dutch radio from FTWLTG, early nineties.

I played on different locations through the Netherlands, this was mostly club, groovy, soulful deep and some tech house.

Very often I use former influences like Disco, Jazz, Latin, Tribal and Electro. In my opinion this gives a pure and recognizable shape to deep house mixes.

My motivation is to use and combine different genres and elements and bringing all that in one creation (house is a feeling).
