Heres part two of what obviously have become and may be a continous mix series. You know the drill - Only swedish productions and vocals. New wave, rock, Italo and so on.

Following the sung swedish hero «Foppa» tribute it’s now time to send another to one of the unsung ones. Christer Petterson was a swedish crimimal and drunk addict who fell into the spotlight being arrested and later convicted for the shocking murder of the swedish prime minister, Olof Palme in 1986.

Just a few months later, however, Pettersson was freed on appeal. The court cited a lack of evidence, including the missing murder weapon, and raised questions over the reliability of Lisbet Palme's identification. Pettersson was awarded about $50,000 in compensation.

Although Pettersson appears to have quickly spent the money on alcohol and drugs.

The party continues!

Tre Kronor 2 - Christer edition

This month’s episode on Mouthfull is a special episode of Under The Apricot Tree.

For most of October I was lucky to travel through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. 

Throughout the trip I collected music I heard in taxis, restaurants, the street, 15th century madrassas and 3500m above sea level, as well as field recordings taken while walking around city centres and mountains, on buses, 
marshrutkas and trains.

On the show tonight you’ll hear pop, traditional and a mix of both, from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia and Belarus. The music that people listen to varies widely and is still shaped by their shared history as part of the USSR and their neighbours today.

We've been following Jilo since he launched  this great exercise of dowmntepo-balearica that was "Into the Sunwinds". As a DJ, Jilo showcases a diverse and eclectic style, always moving between balearic beat, downtempo, and house music.

A guy who's on an endless voyage, riding ethereal waves and pushing musical boundaries, definitely an artist to keep an eye on.

As you lay there half unconscious, microscopic tentacles emerge from textures below and pore into the folds of your flesh, squirming up into the brain. Irreversibly perverted you will then rise, hungry for the strange and the unsafe.
