the bass happened to come to my mind randomly, so I decided to recreate the entire song for the heck of it...

Honestly, there were very few FL Studio references for me to use, as well as the original song having a sort-of odd timing. Other than that though, this was pretty easy for me to do, considering the fair amount of YouTube piano tutorials there were for the melodies and such. (Also heads up, the ending isn't accurate at all to the official song; I couldn't figure out how it was meant to go.)

In the background I've added in an accordion instrument, just incase this happens to get flagged for copyright (that is of course, IF the system thinks this recreation is close to accurate).

If possible, let me know on whether or not I can post the FLP file for this recreation WITHOUT getting in trouble by copyright laws and such.

another shorter beat. i've been reading TSAONGAF and it's been changing my life on a pretty fundamental level. that, paired with being in college, has put me in this cool new position where i'm starting to be open with a lot of new ideas and opportunities. it's very excitin!

Found myself doomscrolling on YouTube (to my shame), and thought that making a song would just help me get out of my own head a little bit. It's a super simple song that gives me 2020 vibes, and I made an effort to not include any chiptune instruments. 
There are a handful of people who drop by every now and then just to see the old tracks I made before. I don't think people really realize sometimes just how meaningful those old songs to me are, and that they represent very emotional moments for me. There's certainly a difference between making music sound good and making it feel right. 
But that's enough of me, because, well, you have an important decision to make right now! I don't know what it is, but I think you would be more at peace if you took care of it.

when i made that song, i was staying with my grandfather to keep him company after our grandmother passed. however i found comforting him difficult, i started to fall behind in school a bit, and i stopped taking care of myself. it felt like i was helpless. like there was nothing i could do. i was haunted by that for years, until i moved to Washington back in August. Jesus freed me from that and gave me strength to persevere (Philippians 4:13)! but He has also revealed to me (through much prayer and studying) that, being human, i actually WANT to be helpless. i WANT it to feel like there's nothing i can do so that people can't see me mess up and judge me. a lot of people talk about faith--  i need the faith that even if people judge me, i am secure in God's love (Galatians 1:10). 

that being said; i didn't want to be somebody who talks about faith online, because oftentimes those people are judged. but right now i can't help but talk about what i've seen and heard from my walk with God!
