Milan-based collective Just This are proud to present ​X​ - a compilation celebrating ten years at the outer reaches of ambient, melodic techno. Featuring contributions from Just This family and friends, the twenty-track release will be available July 10.

Since launching in 2010 as an event series, Just This has grown to function as a record label and collective governed by community spirit and a mutual interest in the more abstract spheres of techno. Having presented over thirty releases across a ten year period, they have worked with an extensive list of acclaimed artists at the vanguard of electronic music.

Following their success as one of the first parties in Italy to book more melodic strains of techno, the collective has retained a commitment to bringing abstract sonic explorations to a wider audience. As one of the first to host artists like Tale Of Us in Milan, the Just This parties expanded to curate events across Europe and beyond, bringing with them a number of artists whose careers have since skyrocketed.

With this compilation, they celebrate the wide range of aesthetic pursuits that have underscored their intentions from the start. Tense atmospherics and murky frequencies are offset with crystalline ambient wanderings and brief moments of euphoria. Spatial manipulations carve new sonic frontiers as the boundaries between psychedelia and lucidity blur into abstract forms. At times rough, at others meditative, the compilation is underscored by a shared aesthetic belief in the weird and wonderful.

X​ includes tracks from ​Hunter/Game, Mind Against, Extrawelt, Eduardo De La Calle, Alex Smoke, Sterac, Yotam Avni ​and​ Woo York,​ amongst many others, and functions as both a celebration of the collective, and a testament to the value of community and collaboration.

Daniel Figueiredo, born in Toronto, is the mind behind Yøhkan. A project created to express his passion for music.
Since young, music has had an important part in his life, but it wasn't,t until his early 20's that he discovered the joy of expressing his musical taste through dj'ing.
Mixing just between friends turned into a full time dedication, and consequently led him to playing in venues across several countries.
Not long after, music production came into play, where since then he has released tracks of his own making,  joining Colombian's Kulto Label with his EP "Origem" and  his recent participation on the "Secret Garden" V.A released by one of Barcelona's most respected melodic techno imprint, Wood.
Always searching for that melodic touch, his music is meant to tell a story. 
Be it a track or dj set, through piercing leads, interesting percussions and intriguing pads, you can expect to be taken on a deep and memorable journey every beat of the way.

404DATA. aka. Sterioa is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, navigating the intersections of music production, painting, and visual art.—constructing a retro-futuristic world rooted in analog raw expression and D.I.Y culture. Strongly affiliated with old school hip hop and soundsystem culture.

Musically, 404DATA is an analog machine and sampling lover. His sonic field spans across electro, and breaks with a influence of hip hop and punk. His productions move between introspective soundscapes and high-voltage rave energy which forms an evolving narrative of underground culture.

On the visual art perspective, 404DATA grew up with graffiti, nowadays his visual work fuses abstract linework with calligraphic symbolism capturing the tension between analog textures and digital distortion on paintings and digital art. His physical art installations exists out of rare materials found in the streets and abandoned buildings while exploring the depths of the city.

As the co-founder of Fraktion Nimmersatt (FNS), 404DATA has been instrumental in reclaiming empty spaces since 2017, and became one of the key persons behind some of the biggest free raves in town nowadays. They transform shortly occupied spaces into platforms for artistic expression, fueling the independent rave culture of Berlin and throughout Europe. In 2020 FNS was running their Open Air club “Brache09” which was running for a short period of time until it got shut down by authorities. Through rave activism, demonstrations, and artistic interventions, the collective champions the liberation of free spaces and the expansion of underground movement.

Currently working on the foundation of Synaesthetic Syndicate (SY.SY), a label and platform dedicated to merging visual and sonic arts, 404DATA continues to push artistic boundaries. SY.SY is a base where frequencies and visuals converge into immersive realities, breaking through the boundaries of existing formats. SY.SY is expected to be launched in the year of 2025.

404DATA, embodies the transmission of unknown files. A glitch in the system, an encrypted signal of raw artistic energy which is telling the story of an underground movement.
