@montyluke's ‘Nightdubbing (Part 2)’ lands on Rekids this February.

Kicking oﬀ Rekids’ January, Monty Luke’s ‘Nightdubbing (Part 1)’ won the support of Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier, Fred P and many more. Radio Slave’s esteemed label now readies itself for part two, starting with ‘Supernova’, a slow-burning groover shot through with whirly synths and deep space textures, broken up by retro vocal samples. ‘Starstorms’ continues to explore the deepest reaches of the unknown, picking up pace via shaker rhythms, driving bass, and raw foot-on-the-pedal pads.

Up next is Monty Luke’s ‘New World / Old Future’, in which scratch-like drums, dubbed-out hits and a rolling rhythm are all in perfect order before the psychedelic ‘Avantgarde Dancehall’ introduces wonky liquid sonics and intricate melodies over a steady beat. Closing this eclectic oﬀering, ‘Travelling ‘Round The Sun’ features drums rooted in dub alongside spoken word poetry, rounding oﬀ a release that is storytelling at its very best.

Monty Luke spent ten formative years in Detroit, where the city's unique musical spirit inﬂuenced him immensely. He has since distilled this experience into the music he has put out on labels like Rekids, Planet-E, Hypercolour, and his own Black Catalogue. His raw, dub-infused sound comes with plenty of futuristic designs, with this second part of ‘Nightdubbing’ continuing to push the boundaries of his music.

This track is inspired by the Mills of my home town (Bolton) and surrounding area and the warmth of northern people. In particular its about how they retook over these spaces after the hollowing out of the industrial north as production moved to India and the Far East. They are used for multitude of purposes from housing, to light industry, work spaces, art spaces, and a few acid house raves. The track starts with a simple beat and then gradually builds up layers of dark stabs, smooth modulating synths, and crazy lush pads, like a factory machine spinning into life or like the Northern spirit adapting to its new future.

Tanzgemeinschaft unveils a powerful two-track release from rising artist @Prexse, titled Pyrite—a refined blend of melodic house & techno that explores both raw energy and introspective depth. With Pyrite and Exzenter, Prexse demonstrates a sharp ear for texture, groove, and evolving emotion.

The title track, “Pyrite,” opens with a tightly wound groove that immediately locks you in. A haunting melodic riff slowly emerges from beneath the surface, shimmering like the track’s namesake mineral—beautiful, structured, but never predictable. There’s a restrained intensity throughout, as Prexse carefully controls the build, letting tension smolder just below the surface. The result is a track that feels both grounded and atmospheric, equally suited for dark rooms or peak-hour outdoor sets.

“Exzenter” follows with a more hypnotic and progressive flair. The rhythm rolls effortlessly, layered with intricate synth work and rhythmic accents that swirl like smoke. It leans into repetition, but not monotony—each element evolves just enough to pull the listener deeper into its groove. There’s a subtle emotional edge here, giving the track a sense of forward motion without urgency.

Together, Pyrite and Exzenter showcase Prexse’s ability to balance drive and detail, delivering music that moves bodies and minds alike. A confident, late-night statement for the discerning selector.

Just Vicause started singing earlier than talking and began playing piano at the age of four. When Covid hit, she decided to take a step towards music production and started composing her first melodies and rhythms, which led her to DJing. She debuted on the nightlife scene of Koh Phangan in Thailand, and later began performing on the neighboring island of Koh Samui. She played at venues such as Elephant Beach Club, Bar Bohem, The Door, Yep Listening Bar, Summer Salts and many more.

Her whole life is filled with music, a space worth living in. Having grown up on the underground scene of St. Petersburg, she gravitates towards complex bass and break rhythms, but skillfully mixes house, nu-disco, downtempo, balearic, tribal, afrobeat, organic house and so on.
