I have been a performance artist since 1971 performing as one of the Kipper Kids until 2003.
I have also worked as a solo performance artist collaborating and appearing with Karen Finley, Henry Rollins, Public Image, Genesis P. Orridge, Sex Pistols, Joanna Went, Eric Bogosian, Anne Bean, Bow Gamelan, Lol Coxhill, Paul Burwell, Evan Parker, Derek Bailey and Ian Hinchcliffe among others. 
I currently live in Leicester in the UK and make soundworks and movies.
My digital movies have been presented at the Royal Academy in London-https://vimeo.com/brianrouth and my sound works on BBC radio and at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

The Kipper Kids have been involved in writing and starring in three projects for HBO and Cinemax and appeared in a number of movies.

I am also working on my soundscapes for my poetry and songs plus instrumental music and sound-works that incorporate vocal soundbites of world leaders, politicians, madmen, poets, rebels, murderers and others. As well as soundtracks for my own low budget movies and musical video poems.

I am doktorb. I scour the internet looking for waveforms to deconstruct  and build sonic structures out of the debris.

Zul Mahmod (b. 1975) is one of Singapore’s leading sound artists. ZUL has been at the forefront of a generation of sound-media artists in Singapore’s contemporary art development – one of the genres of international contemporary art-making that has been garnering interest for its inter-disciplinary approach and experimental edge. ZUL represented Singapore with a Sound Art Performance at the Ogaki Biennale in 2006, and was Singapore’s first sound artist with a full-on sound sculpture at the Singapore Pavilion of the 52nd Venice Biennale 2007. An Associate Artist at the alternative art space The Substation, ZUL has cut a reputation for integrating 3-D forms with ‘sound constructions’ and ‘sound-scapes’, often crossing genres and collaborating with other artists.

Science is a Goldfish in a lake with a memory of 12 seconds. That Goldfish picks up a mouthful of sand, drops it on a rock and counts the dark grains and the light grains. 12 seconds later he forgot everything and does it over and over telling other goldfishes to do the same thing. 5 yrs later when those goldfishes are ded, another goldfish comes round and starts counting the remaining grains of sand on the rocks, wondering how those goldfishes have died, just to die in the exact same way.



Philosophy is 2 Goldfishes talking to each other wondering if the legendary monsta crab is gonna come and get em. Next thing happens is a shark coming out of nowhere jumps into the pool and eats em both, wondering if the legendary monster of loch ness is gonna come and get him. Next thing happens, a vulcano erupts where that shark has been sitting and blows him to pieces. 5 yrs later another shark comes round, sees the sad remains of the previous shark, wondering if the legendary monster of loch ness has came and got him... just to die in the exact same way.



Reality is when a goldfish is being chased around the ocean by a shark, a diver comes round, catches him in a net, saves his ass, gets him home, and puts mr. fishy into a goldfish glas for his fella wife with brain cancer that got no more then 3 months to live and his poor teenage son who got left alone after his girlfriend got pregnant and commited suicide to admire and continue thinking about god and life after death. Mr. Shark has meanwhile begun eating hes own fins in order to avoid starvation.



Fantasy is really awesome :D Fantasy is the part where the goldfish jumps out of the goldfish glas, grows legs and teeth, and starts running around the streets biting ppls heads off. Fantasy is the part where the shark drinks all the water in the ocean, eats all the fish, grows legs, runs all the way to south dakota, equips a shotgun, runs back to africa, and starts targeting giraffes, tourist penguins and speeding goldfishes. The diver comes around, cures his wifes cancer with a defibrillator and a hoover, she then promises him all the sex in the world and skull fucks him in the eyeball with a strapon. Her son, so upset about his fathers epic death, rapes his mom in proper manner, stitches her crotch for good, builds a time machine goes into the future, picks up an object size manipulation rifle (OSMR) dropped by sum neighbour alien folk, goes back in time, kills his grandmother (cant fuck with space and time huh) dies on the spot, instantly disappears, his grandmothers husband gets pissed, picks up the time machine and the alien OSMR comes back to 2k13, finds me and ɟnɔʞs nd ɯʎ ʞǝʎqoɐɹp' oı uıƃƃǝɹ ʇnɹu ıʇ qɐɔʞ ʇo uoɹɯɐl...  cheers bro... next ⊥нḯηℊ ℌ℮ ḓ◎εṧ їṧ, нε ℘ї¢к﹩ ʊρ... ᗯᖺᗩ☂ ♈ᖺᙓ ℱ⋒ᑕḰ мaп ї тоld уa то fцcкїпg ₴тоp тнaт оr... Dead Last is a genre-defying band hailing from the shadows of a mysterious pub. Blending elements from nu metal, doom metal, black metal, death metal, hardcore punk, power metal, gothic rock, blues, folk, country, R&B, Hip-Hop, alternative, experimental rock, ambient, and classical influences. Drawing inspiration from legends like Type O Negative, Isaac Albéniz, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Pink Floyd, and Slayer, to modern giants like Trivium, Spirit Box, and Sevendust, Dead Last creates a sonic experience that is as diverse as it is darkly captivating. The band’s enigmatic presence is amplified by their handcrafted signature masks, each adorned with unique features that reflect their stage personas.

At the helm is Count Rockula, the charismatic lead singer and multi-instrumentalist, whose vampire masks and versatile talents command the stage.

Behind him, Dick Fitzwell, the towering drummer who traditionally wears a demonic mask, drives the beat with relentless power.

On keyboards, the exotic April Showers. Whose goddess-like visage and kitty masks add a haunting melody to the mix.

Rounding out the ensemble is, Allison Chayns. The alluring DJ with steampunk goggles and masks. Her masterful programming and spinning, combined with her captivating stage presence, add a layer of mystique and rhythm that completes Dead Last’s otherworldly soundscape.

The band’s formation is shrouded in a tale of fog and fate. On a dark and foggy night, six musicians found themselves in an eerie, deserted pub, somewhere deep within the forests of the Scottish Highlands. Stranded by the impenetrable mist, they jammed together to pass the time, forging an unbreakable bond. Since that fateful night, they have been inseparable, and where you see one member, the others are always near. Their story, steeped in rumors of dark arts and supernatural origins.

As a self-proclaimed secret society, Dead Last is poised to unleash their debut album soon, continuing to release music that captivates and mystifies. Their impromptu shows at undisclosed locations only add to their legend, leaving fans both thrilled and spellbound. Some say they lost their minds that night; others believe they never left the pub alive, becoming spectral beings bound by music and mystery.
