Hello and welcome to the world of 'Phenixx'

Phenixx is a Midlands born Dj / Producer based in Leicester (Uk). Once one half of Him_Self_Her,  Leon (Phenixx) took some time away from the music industry a few years back to concentrate on his mental health after a car accident in 2013.

Now back and looking to achieve the great success he had under his Him_Self_Her alias, Leon is purely motivated by the music and bringing his vibe back behind the decks.

Having achieved a lot over the years with having signed music to labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Toolroom Records, Get Physical, Suara and featuring on the Defected 'Deep Down' sampler Leon is hoping to bring the fire with his 'Phenixx' project.

And not forgetting one of the biggest highlights of Leon’s career so far, achieving a producers dream and becoming Pete Tong’s essential new tune on BBC Radio 1 with his hit ‘Gone Too Long’ under his Him_Self_Her alias.

The road ahead is paved with promise, marked by upcoming gig’s and releases, including a current residency at the prestigious W hotel.

In the studio, our maestro channels influences from old jazz and soul, crafting a signature sound evident in his chart-topping releases on Beatport. 
With a focus on music production, a series of EPs and singles has already left an indelible mark on the industry.

Beyond the artist persona, he's been a respected tutor at London Sound Academy since 2017, mentoring aspiring talents of all ages. Including some that have gone on to be very big and well respected names in the industry.

Additionally, co-owning DOMUS Music, he played a pivotal role in transforming the renowned Domus party into a successful record label, boasting numerous top 5 Beatport chart successes over five years.
