Driven - by JUSTE

From the deep dark hills of eastern Kentucky, JUSTE has quickly emerged as one of today's most uniquely talented artist garnering the attention of some major players in the music business. Although he has only recently started to release his music to the public, JUSTE has spent the last ten years writing and recording countless songs from a variety of genres. Throughout that time he worked hard to develop all the skills needed to produce, engineer, mix, and master his music from the comfort of his own home studio. "I worked hard to become good at EVERYTHING so there would be no excuses for me not to have a career in music." 

At the young age of four, he began playing drums at the instruction of his Dad, a guitarist in a local rock band. It was obvious from the beginning that music was in his blood. Growing up, he was a member of several bands, learned multiple instruments, and started his own DJ/entertainment company. It seemed he was destined for a life of music. In 2013, JUSTE became the first person on either side of his family to graduate from college, with a Bachelors in Music Business. Perhaps he explains it best in one of his songs when he says, "To make my Momma proud, I graduated, and I did it for all of those who said I'd never make it. Educated, creative, I'll keep back for those who waited, go away to make my millions, feeling good to say I finally made it." 
During his time in college he refined his skills and developed relationships with like minded individuals who are still supporting his music and working with him today! He prides himself on his integrity, and always making it known that, "we are in this together." 

After graduating, he moved to Knoxville, TN and began a career in real estate. He always continued to perfect his musical craft, and never let a day go by without writing or producing. Even with hard drives crammed full of music, he let the fear of how he would be received as an artist hold him back from releasing any songs. It also didn't help that his real estate career was taking off quicker than expected; he already had a listing appointment on the schedule. The day of the listing meeting however, JUSTE noticed an open mic billboard at the OpenChord. He decided that after his very first real estate listing appointment he would attend the open mic performance hosted by  "Secret City Cyphers". After finishing the meeting he planned on returning home to prepare for the show. Unfortunately, the meeting ran over time and JUSTE was already going to be 45 minutes late. With no time to change clothes or prepare a song, he walked into the event sporting his finest suit and tie. After performing a verse A cappella he had won over the crowd and received a standing ovation. 

JUSTE has become the independent artist to watch boasting amazing performances, and publishing captivating music. He has meticulously developed his brand into a polished product. Armed with the experience and professional education he is poised to finally capture the eyes and ears of people everywhere. Catch him hosting his own podcast, "JUSTE Chillin" where he shares his fresh perspective on life, and allows a behind the scenes look at his story.
