Gugs Ranye (Gugs for short from Gugga), is an independent artist who writes, produces, mixes and performs his own music. Gugga, Meaning uncle in Nyikina. From Derby, North West Australia, Gugs Ranye ranges from backstreet boom baps to country folk-lore with grainy woke raps that carry meaning and purpose. He aspires to inspire his home town's youth to pursue Music as a means to express themselves in a creative way and put Derby, AKA "Blood City," on the map. Gugs Ranye is currently working on his debut 5 track EP, which will be released in mid 2025.
