Theta Eridani (θ Eri, θ Eridani) is a star in the constellation Eridanus. It has the traditional name Acamar from the Arabik Ākhir an-nahr which means "the end of the river“.
Acamar is a double star with some evidence suggesting it is part of a multiple star system
Acamar's distance from Earth as measured by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite is approximately 120 light-years.
Ptolemy described Acamar as a first-magnitude star, which some have taken to be in fact Achernar, which today appears just above the horizon in Alexandria where Ptolemy lived.
Achernar, however, was not visible to Ptolemy (it is from Alexandria today due to procession); its declination in 100CE was -67, making it invisible even at Aswan. Ptolemy's Eridanus thus without doubt ended at Acamar, which rose about 10 degrees above the horizon from Alexandria. This fact besides positively identifying Acamar as the original "end of the river", also strengthens the case for Acamar having been first magnitude in ancient times.

Structured around a fleshly growling bassline, warming pads and robotic vocals, “Anxiously” will keep you joyfully glued to the dancefloor all winter long.

Remcord's slow burning interpretation of “Anxiously” focuses heavily on a gorgeously morphing groove, teasing melody fragments and glistering hats. A perfect balance of energy and feel, while never losing sight of the original’s vibe. 

Beatamines’ remix opens with plenty of driving sub-bass, and a massive jacking rhythm stacked underneath the sleaze vocals. With jumping and smacking percussion, this remix lacks no flair and is fully focused on making you dance.

I wanted to make something really heavy for this one, and for the whole "Mechanical Concussion" EP, as the name might suggest! This one is the B-side for the release, which will be coming on vinyl and digital on Stephan Bodzin's Herzblut label at the end of this month.

So yeah, it's a bit of heavy triplet marching style drums here, and some big distortion with a little Mrimba riff over the top. Maybe it's a bit scarey, but I captured the aggression I was after at least. Also beware when mixing this track, it's triplets so won't sit nicely over most 44 tunes!....It'll mix a treat with my Fairmont and Cream Sound remixes though

For my new EP on Traum I've done a couple of collaborative tracks with Nicolas Bougaieff (one of the founders of Liine). Nick had some great melodic ideas and a nice operator patch which we used to build two tracks around. This first one, Ellipse, has lots of shuffle and a simple groove to focus attention on the meandering riff at forefront. It's a little different from my usual, a bit of an experiment, hopefully some people will like it!
