Just For Mom was an 80s Montréal-based band formed by singer/drummer/percussionist Klark & bassist Philippe Demers.  Guitarist Iain Booth came in the picture in the Spring of 1986, and that's when the music started coming together.  James Lee Moore joined later mainly as a keyboard player, but also played guitar on some songs. Three drummers were part of the line up, namely Jackie Gallant (1986), Denis Albert (1987-1988), and Norman Lachance (1989-1990).

Their style of soft goth of the beginning gradually turned into a crunchier type of rock.
