He grew up in Marseille by the Mediteranean sea (South of France) His Mom raised him with funk, disco and soul. He discovered the art of Dj’ing with vinyls at the age of 16 years old, influenced by the likes of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Amine Edge and David Guetta. After few years learning production he became a Hit-Maker. His house music is inspired by ibiza (Spain) and the Latin culture that he soaked up during his time living on the Island.

He’s had residencies at Pacha & Ushuaia in Ibiza, and has played the biggest festivals in the world such as: Burning Man, EDC Vegas, EDC Mexico, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Parookaville, World Club Dome, Mysteryland.

Van Holt Recordings was founded in 2011 by singer and songwriter Christopher van Holt. At first it should only be a label for his songs, but at the time more and more potential artists came and wanted to be part of VHRecords. 

So it started out, that VHR is not only a label for young creative artists, but also a producing company which tries to give new artists a choice to be on the market and present their music to the world. 

In 2011 and 2012 Christopher van Holt took part in the Luckystar Singer Contest in Frankfurt as a jury member and produces the winner of the contest. In cooperation with several other labels VHRecords could deal both winners to bigger companies. 

The winner 2012, Lysanne is coming up soon on Betty Beat, which former brought a song by van Holt and Betty Bizarre to the swiss dance charts ( #52). 

Millions of young musicians would like to get their music heard, but there are so less labels that give them the chance. VHR surely does not take every artist, but we're searching for talented producers and singers, who want to live their dream like Christopher van Holt did once too.

In the last year VHR produced more than 25 songs from beat music to progressive house and made deals with Lukes Club, DJ International (MIami), MVA Records, Betty Beat, blm-music and Leuchtfisch Records. Now it's time to start to deal by ourself!
