With a career that's been going since 1997, Matt has worked alongside many of the biggest names in Music across all kind of genres including Justin Wilkes, Cream Anthems, Dave Pearce, K-Klass, D:Ream, Charlie Hedges, DJ EZ, Flawless Promotions, Brand New Heavies, Fun Lovin Criminals, The Beat, Bruce Foxton and From The Jam, Wheatus, Hadouken, Alex P, Elliot Minor, Young Knives, Bombay Bicycle Club, Adam Ficek from Babyshambles, and the Stanton Warriors.

His sets explore the many genres of electronic dance music, with everything from techno to trance, from Old Skool rave anthems to the latest EDM and from house to hardcore. He also specialises in Trance Classics and Dance Anthems.
 
He presents a radio show on Radio Woking called Dance Anthems aired live on Friday evenings on DAB Digital Radio as well as online. He plays gues mix slots on Safehouse Radio.

The True Deceivers have been developing their own blend of rootsy folk rock/Americana since their formation in 2003. Since then they have played hundreds of gigs across the UK becoming regulars at festivals including Guilfest, Weyfest, Watchet, A New Day Festival and Bearded Theory. During this time they have shared stages with the likes of The Stranglers, The Wonderstuff, Oysterband, Seth Lakeman,  Three Daft Monkeys, Neville Staple, Dreadzone, Kate Rusby, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, and Hank Wangford.

2020 saw the release of the long awaited third studio album, My Own Highway. This is the follow up to the band’s second offering, Hell or High Water, which was well received back in 2012:

It’s been a busy 12months for Tom Upton, and things are just on the verge of getting a whole lot busier. From playing at a 20,000 capacity festival to running by monthly nights at Pacha, London and the Whitehouse, Tom hasn’t had a spare moment to stand still.

This last 12 months has firmly established Tom Upton as an up and coming artist within the UK, and now currently focusing on additional international bookings.

Tom Upton has spent the last 15 years putting together an impressive record collection and has been working the dance floors around the UK. With impressive by-monthly residencies at Pacha, London and the WhiteHouse.

Tom Upton started mixing with decks at an early age, in fact his love of music and mixing started in the summer of ‘96. Since then Tom has become a well known dj across London and is now becoming recognised on a global basis.

A born and bred clubber and music lover, Tom Upton has been influenced by djs that include Paul Van Dyke, Maurio Picotto and Norman Cook.

Starting his DJ career in smaller venues playing what he loved, house music. Tom Upton started his Thursday, Friday and Saturday night residencies across various venues around Surrey which shortly turned into a big success.

With a passion for music, Tom Upton has always enjoyed listening to any genre of music. Following a love for trance back in 1996, more recently Tom has progressed into the love of mixing funky electro house and club classics and tech house.

Over the years Tom Upton has rocked dance floors around the UK, some of which include Pacha, SE1, Ministry of Sound, Egg, Essence, Indigo, Barcadia, Junk Club just to name a few.

Tom Upton has also been involved with a number of festivals including GuilFest 2009 which he rocked a crowd of over 2500 clubbers. In 2010 Tom Upton was asked back to close Guilfest on the last night of the weekend. A short video of the reaction can be found here.

Alongside these venues Tom has supported other global brands including Hed Kandi.

Summer 2010 has been a turning point for Tom Upton, now currently working on his own music production; he is expected to take the music industry by storm with some of his up and coming releases.
