Culture Shock, also known for his work with hosting events (UltraNoize), is well known for bringing a full powered psychedelic vibe to the dance floor when venturing solo, encompassing an essence of dark while always keeping it funky, fresh, and with high energy of nature! 

Not wanting to label his style to any which Psy Trance genre, other than simply psychedelic, he maintains a high sense and flow, and stays true to his original roots. Culture Shock brings about a more organic and tangible experience, and likes to create a spontaneous and unpredictable journey. Having played alongside artists such as Dirty Saffi, Dust, Orca, Infected Mushroom, and Bombax to name but a few, Culture shock has a fine tuned knowledge of how to read a crowd, and how to give each set its own unique psychoactive flavor.
His generally preferred labels are the likes of Wild Thing rec, Bomshanka Music, Loony Moon rec, Sangoma rec, Purple Hexagon etc, and one thing is for sure, every set is carefully selected to bring like minded people together to move in psychedelic harmony!

Progressive Psy Trance / Psy-Tech / Hamburg Sound - DJ signed to UltraNoize

Never one to have my mind hypnotized by the commercial sounds pounded into our heads over and over by our local radio stations, I have always been very opened minded to all genres of music. EDM caught my attention around 1995 and my DJing adventure started from there. I got my first turntables and mixer in 1997 and have never looked back. True to heart, I am a progressive house and uplifting trance DJ. Hanging out with the right people at the wrong time or is it the wrong people at the right time, I discovered the psy scene. My taste in psy leads more to the progressive side. A lot of cross over influence in music styles can be heard in my sets. Progressive trance, psy-tech, techno, progressive house when spinning those slower funky beats. When upping the bpm, fluffy (dare i say it) and uplifting  psy tends to be my thing. I still have my trusted SL 1210s but have moved into the space of time coded and controller DJing. The world is changing, people are changing, beats are changing, but damn... don't we all love a good stomp!
