IT'S A WAR - DAVE MATHMOS(RIELABORATO)

I love these two crazy dudes, they're a little like me in a way, and they made some killer tunes in the 80's. Like this one =) The original John Luongo remix ran at 9:35 but it was really difficult to play out as the drums kept running all over the place. I managed to keep the first 16 bars of this edit pretty constant at 122 BPM and the end lead-in and break as well - it's a wee bit long at 12:23 (ha ha) but it's good for those times when you need a smoke break (given the way most clubs and bars are these days...heh) pardon the scratchy bits in the drop....

One of the most epic disco tracks ever made and the best Patrick Cowley record no one has heard of! Massive stuff, be sure not to miss the 9:00 mark.
This is a very, very rare pressing which is slightly different from, but way better then his Megamix of this track. I'm still looking for this particular original source material to make a proper quality re-edit. For now, I upped it a bit and extended only the intro a bit, making it a bit more dj-friendly. Expect an re-edit of this track in one of my upcoming mixes.

Tantra - The hills of Katmandu (Patrick Cowley rare remix)

I did a version of this a few months back and have been playing it out lots, always with a great response so I thought I'd spruce it up and give it a posting....using elements of Thompson Twins 'Doctor Doctor' and vocal snippets from Raze 'Bass Power'.
