I really want #deathvialove to be more then just a musical project i want it to be a vessel I want it to be a somthing Somone looks back on and goes "wow what was she thinking?" I want people to hear me and understand me I want them to forget to breathe and skip a heart beat and when they've ran out of air and time stops they come back to reality a little less empty i want them to be able to think for them selves and ask questions I want to feed their curiosity make them imagine i want to see how far does the mind go how deep can it grow I want people to question everything anyone has ever told them and think do I believe this cause I really believe it or do I believe this cause the people Ive been doomed to associate with believe this and if I defy them I defy "god" if I defy them I'm considered ill or mentally unstable I want people to know its ok to be afraid and to cry to love and to leave or be left and to grow its okay to make mistakes and break rules it's okay to test boundaries just don't find yourself testing boundaries for anybody else but your self i want to inspire and be inspired by those who surround me I want to love uncontrollably till my heart explodes and my voice is lost some where between the things I'm afraid to say and the things I've said that i didn't mean. I want people to hear my story and know that magic is real and to never loose sight of what really matters not money not time but love unconditional unselfish no egos no secrets honest genuine compassionate plutonic love That's what matters and to know that even when it feels like someone has ripped that love from your stomach and your heart feels like it's been attached to a million bricks and cast into the ocean life goes on and the only thing left to do is forgive and continue loving and it sucks and it hurts and you'll cry but at least your not alone cause I feel you.

It's spring time, so about time for another seasons compilation in the form of "Spring In Jakarta". AllttA is a new project by 20syl and Mr. J. Medeiros and it will be release by our homies of On and On Records. We have had mutual respect from some time now (and 20syl has been featured on our comp series before) so it made sense to feature a little unreleased exclusive from the upcoming AlttA project. We are also working with On and On Records on a joint release of belgium producer Pomrad. 

As always "Spring In Jakarta" will be a free DLL with free cassette tape copies available from selected retailer. Also be on the lookout for the limited t-shirt + tape combo we did together with the homies from inflammable.com

Northeastern Hip-Hop crew Bad Poetry Club reveals their jazzy, hypnotic inaugural single, “The Words,” which also serves as our first listen off their forthcoming project.

The multitalented conglomerate smoothly fuses the sounds of Boom bap, Jazz, and Modern Dance on their debut effort. And given the players involved, that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone listening. BPC is made up of instrumentalist/vocalist Michael Wilbur (Moon Hooch), producer/rapper Tonio Sagan, beatboxer/producer Honeycomb, and rapper Sotorios (Political Animals frontman).

Together, these four artists, with additional instrumentation provided by Garrett Sawyer on bass, display a clear knack for collaborating on “The Words,” a brassy slapper that perfectly blends the styles and sounds of everyone involved. It also bodes extremely well for their self-titled debut. The record doesn't have a release date just yet, but this joint is definitely enough to hold us over until more details trickle out.

The Words is now available for stream, and will soon be available through all major digital retailers!
