This is the final chapter in our Battle Of Krakenmoor saga... Its intention... well, i guess the intention of this entire project is to show that, with all wars, past or present, in victory or defeat... there is always a great cost that will be paid.... there is never any true 100% victor in any battle and the costs are very high.
In our story, the original inhabitants of Krakenmoor have defied the odds and reclaimed there home, but as the smoke clears and the victors relish in their conquest, they look across the battlefield and see the toll that was paid and wonder if it was all worth it in the end for just for this particular piece of land that many years ago they had called home.

The victor stands at ease and views the murders
of the sea of these
the warriors with a victory
are standing tall but so empty

The spectre of the wars we fought
the horrors that the slaughter bought
and when we look for our dear friends
we find a book of bitter ends 

Spoils of war, a shallow win
