Recco/ 3am Collective

Recco was born and raised in Queretaro, Mexico, where he got involved in the music scene in his early age. Determined to share his passion for music, Recco started to organize his own parties in his hometown. Quickly, he became well-known by local djs and people in the parties community. Thus, his desire to mix became undeniable.

Moving to Chicago in 1999, Recco forged relationships in the house music industry through some friends involved in the Chicago house’s scene. Recco drilled the Chicago music industry through regular gigs and opening of various local djs. Therefore, these 3 years in Chicago shaped his sound and his true passion for house music.

Back to Mexico, Recco positioned himself as an innovative and a ‹‹new force›› talent by playing his music in major nightclubs and warehouses parties in his hometown, Quérétaro. During his time in Mexico, Recco became a resident dj in nightclubs such as Roho and 4play and owned many appearances in Mexican cities like Mexico City and other citys close from his town.

In order to make a name for himself, Recco moved to Cancun where he had the opportunity to meet new challenges. He played in major nightclubs such as la Nectar Bar in Cancun, where he obtained a residency for more than 4 years.

Today, Recco still playing his signature deep house sound combined with rhythmic drums pattern and with a touch of deep groovy sound. He is dedicated to share and explore an underground sound in the Montréal’s club scene.

As a member of a Mexico based collective, 3 am Collective, Recco will keep sharing 
his own mission and of his collective which is to express the latest trends in house music.
