New French sensation PORTLAND are set to release their first EP "Deezy Daisy" on Kitsuné on September 15th! It should please as many pop-songs amateurs with the catchy original track as a more groovy and electro addicted audience with great remixes!

As promised, here is that tune I said I’d release today! It features vocals from the funkadelic group, Hey Champ, whom I’ve had the privilege of working with. I hope you enjoy it!

This track has been held in store for a year or so, along with the rest of the EP. I think it’s been fairly clear to some of you that I’ve been slowly releasing these tracks for free lately. It feel like it’s proper time to have some of them out for listening. Instead of holding them back (which I thought to do at first), I now prefer the idea of letting you know that I was and still am very much active, have been developing my sound and production, and am hand-picking tracks for a full-fledged release really soon.

Anyway, if I see there’s a positive response to this tune, I might just be inclined to have the rest out :p So let me know!

. Fun fact, my girlfriend is in Zhu's music video for this song! She received an email, and was casted for it shortly after i made this remix. Small world, right lol? She's the girl who dances in the night club...look for her! :)

. Rumor has it that Zhu wrote this song for Lindsay Lohan after their romantic get away to Paris. 
 
. According to the grapevine, Steve Irwin wasn't actually killed by a stingray. The ongoing conspiracy argues that he passed away while filming a documentary on the wild cocaine model. The footage consisted of Steve following the models in their natural habitat, while carefully examining all of their animalistic habits. Sadly, while the filming was in progress, its believed that Steve was trampled in a stampede of cocaine models fighting over kale chips & cigarettes. The surviving crew knew that if Steve's discoveries became public, the cocaine models would retaliate. So the footage was destroyed, & the story was hidden from the public forever. 

(*This is just a joke. I have no intentions what so ever of offending anyone, especially my Australian fans. Steve Irwin was, and still is a legend. RIP.*)

Alexander Skancke makes his debut on Eskimo Recordings with the beautiful and compelling ‘Found My Place’, which will also appear on the forthcoming Green Collection. Deep electronic strings lead the almost melancholic yet balearic melody with luscious pads filling the low end and the infectious vocals from HEwrote flowing throughout for an overall emotive feel. No stranger to the label Vinny Villbass delivers two remixes. His first ‘Tropical Mix’ rolls with intricate percussion, sonic synths and plenty of groove, while his ‘House Mix’ is a deep house delight and one for the dance floor with a playful loop on the vocal and trippy synths. Local Berliner Oskar Offermann rounds off the release perfectly with his remix, adding a raw bass and sharp kick, with the warm synths and FX running throughout, this is another groovy addition for the dance floor.

DJ and producer Justin Faust has been a well-known part of the international dance music scene for more than ten years. Based in Munich, but closely associated with the Portuguese DISCOTEXAS label (Moullinex, Xinobi and others) and New York’s legendary Nervous Records, his style is as diverse as the people he works with, having releases and remixes show influences from Nu Disco, House, Funk and beyond. Apart from numerous original releases like his 2014 album “Spellbound”, he has crafted many popular remixes for the likes of Childish Gambino, Treasure Fingers, Goldroom, Moullinex or The Knocks, not to be outdone by classic earlier reworks of Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Ariana Grande and Janet. What followed were extensive DJ gigs and tours as headliner, playing at parties across Europe, the US, South America and Asia as well as appearances on Annie Mac's BBC1 radio show, a feature in the critically acclaimed TV show "The Leftovers" and collaborations with legends like Mats Bjorklund, who has recorded with Boney M. and Giorgio Moroder.
