Viper’s newest signing, SØL made an unforgettable debut this summer with the illustrious “Let It Out” featuring Joshua Luke. Already beginning to forge a unique niche for himself with his self-proclaimed “Surf DnB”, SØL is as fresh & exciting as they come, so it was no wonder Futurebound was so eager to sign this prodigy to the label. And now, with much anticipation, we are proud to present the next single from the talented 20 year old from Newcastle, New South Wales, “I’ll Be Ready” featuring Alec Primavera.

Instantly enchanting and whimsical, SØL creates a sonically soothing, welcoming ambience right from the start. Upbeat and incredibly cheerful, Alec Primavera’s vocals pair perfectly with the joyous ambience of the track, coming together for a seriously magical result.

Cheerful and uplifting, the track stands out not just for its positive message, but also for the intricacies and attention to detail in the production. Giving the listener something new to notice with each listen, it’s hard to believe that such an interesting and crisp composition was written by someone so young, making it all the more outstanding. Finding the perfect balance between traditional drum & bass and more commercial pop/radio elements and combining that with such universally relatable and comforting lyrics has made for a surefire future classic.

Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. ‘Electric Echo’, a collaboration with Fightstar’s Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway’s synthwave side project Gunship, encapsulates the ethos of the album merging the unfamiliar with D&B sensibilities to create a fresh and exciting new sound. We also welcome the return of Elisabeth Troy in 'Chasing Sunrise' and Reija Lee in 'Cadence' making for two powerful vocal highlights on the record.
