I felt it was time to slow things down again and started a new series in the Yacht category. We now have Yacht Rock, Yacht Disco, and the new addition Yacht Lounge. It's not the first time I do a downtempo episode but I've done enough that it needs its own category. This show reminded me and made me feel nostalgic of 2015-16 when I use to travel to the south of  France and to Spain to play this style of music on fancy Yachts and bars/clubs by the beach as the sun was setting. Good times!

Lots of new lounge goodies, Disco, surprise edits including new fire that I receive as a promo this week from my friend @larslb on his label Deeper Shades of House that was just perfect for this episode and to close it out.  Close your eyes, relax, and enjoy the sunset.

I really wanted to do a new Yacht Lounge mix this week but after recording and listening to this episode (EP342) I realized that it wasn't 'chill' enough to be part of the lounge series, plus there was a lot of disco edits in there.

I figured I will include it into the Disco Yacht collection. Then the issue was these disco edits were slow versions of the originals. What to do? Too fast for Lounge and too slow for Disco. How about a new yacht series called SLO-MO DISCO then?

Das it! (I'm so freakin' original).

That is how this new series was born. A new series in between the chill lounge and the uptempo disco yacht mixes - but ready to take you on a smooth feet tapping yacht ride.

We have not left the underground club since last week and the music in the current episode is going to cement us here fosho. Banging new tracks including new fire from d3ep's  boss and founder - Grant Nelson and new fire from a Dr Packer. I even tickled the toes of Tech House in this episode but Tech House kicked me in the teeth and said 'Go back to your floor homie - don't you know I'm loco?' oh well, I tried. Welcome to EP150 of the NDYD Radio Show. A milestone episode indeed. First, 150 freakin' EPISODES!! That is a lot of hours of music. It certainly has been a labor of love doing this for a 150 weeks but I do enjoy it. I can't take all the credit tho, we've had some amazing guests who have kept the show going when I couldn't and that is certainly something that has brought up the quality and variety of the program.

Secondly, this episode has pushed us over the 1 MILLION plays in total for all episodes. WOW! I never imagined that we would hit that milestone in a relatively short amount of time after what happened with the last account and the great SoundCloud purge of 2015. There is only one group of people to thank for that. YOU!! Thank you for the continuing support by listening to the show every week, sharing it, replaying it, and been understanding when we skip a week or two.

What is special about this episode? As the title says it's mainly Disco Edits and Yacht Rock which as you know by now is my favorite style to play. We hear edits an bootlegs all the time but I decided instead, in this special 2 hour episode, to play some of MY favorite that are not your everyday cookie cutter edit.
