DeepMixNation is a channel that focuses on the promotion of deep house artists and their music, thus helping them to better recognition. You can definitely expect a lot of high quality mixes!

Lumberjacks in Hell has been founded in 2010. Intimate Friends followed in 2013. For some people the difference or the need for distinction between these two is quite evident but to give you an idea. Lumberjacks is always 100% for the dance floor, inspired by the music from Chicago and Detroit which is not only reflected in the Artists we release. Intimate Friends is a headier affair. Soul, Hip Hop and House are all fair game. If you check the releases next to each other both labels have a distinct sound. And maybe a certain BPM range. This isn't saying that some of the music couldn't have appeared on either label but somehow it all makes sense to me. Cottam shot to notoriety in 2009 with three limited edition 12”s that blew up the underground deep house and nu-disco scenes with no advertising and no info – combining neo-soul, afrobeat and hip hop with slo-mo house grooves all three sold out in double quick time and ended up in many ‘best of 2009’ charts. 
Since then, Cottam has concentrated on developing his own style of sub-aquatic acid house – remixes for Luv Jam on Phonica’s label, Pattern Select on Delusions of Grandeur and Morning Factory on 20:20 Vision offshoot Fina have complemented original tracks on Quintessentials, Wolf Music, German undercover label Story and the summer anthem ‘Sunrise Sunset’. The journey continues with his most accomplished tracks yet on the Deep Deep Down EP for Aus Music and a remix for Geoff Leopard on Endless Flight due out early 2012. He hasn’t completely given up the re-works either with Cottam 4 seeing Plantlife get the treatment and there is even a Cliff Richard remix doing the rounds! Cottam is biding his time with much more music to come next year (when his toddler starts nursery) and he can devote more time to production.
A burgeoning career behind the decks has seen Cottam DJ around the world from London & Ibiza super clubs to the dirtiest basements of Berlin and Manchester. A studio mix recording can never match the off the cuff ideas and crowd interaction of a live set, that can take in anything from Balearic disco edits to rough techno slowed down to a sexy shuffling tempo, classic house to euphoric disco all mixed with a skill, grace and swagger, topped off with a trademark cap.

Hailing from the cold American Midwest, Guise settled into California using analog synthesizers, field recordings, software and samplers to explore the darker spectrums and subcurrents of deep techno and industrial. 
 
Initially, through previous projects (Slave Cylinder and Exclipsect), he came up through the ranks of the North American rhythmic noise scene, gaining an international following with releases on labels such as Possessive Blindfold, Unit Sounds and Hive Records alongside acts such as Savak, Holocaust Theory and DJ Tron. 
 
Guise has released vinyl and digital EPs on labels such as Animal Farm (UK), Singularity Recordings (UK), The Cast Project (CA/US), Abyss Recordings (UK), Archetype (IT) and now Echoes (FR). He has worked on remixes for the likes of High Mobility Weapons Unit (HMWU) and Obstrct (West End Communications), while having the pleasure of being remixed by Orphx and CTRLS.
