Nice man.  You keep the verses quiet & simple, so just the addition of banjo & tambourine give it a nice pick-up on the chorus.

really like the folk feel to the melody..banjo really pushes it there as well...lyrics have lots of wonderful images and tell a thoughtful story

I specialize in sub-par cell phone recordings with a mix of Americana, folk, blues, and... whatever else you want to call it. Typically recorded in my basement while trying very hard not to wake up the kids.
