Rubix (Patrick Ahern) has been involved in the music scene since buying his first set of 1210’s at the tender age of 16, 12 years ago.  Then the sound was hard trance and hard house, spending his clubbing time between Gatecrasher and Sundisenntial, but having taken his first trip to Ibiza in 2000, Rubix has been pioneering new sounds in house and techno ever since.  Having played in some of the UKs biggest clubs such as Gatecrasher (Sheffield and Leeds), Area 51 Manchester, Digital Newcastle, Oceania Leeds, DQ, Plug  and held residencies at nights in Sankeys (Manchester) and the Swanky Sundays Model Parties across the UK.  Rubix has also played along side some of the industries biggest names, such as Mark Knight, Mark Mendez, POPOF, John Dahlback, OD Muzique, Tim Seridan, David Dun, Clive Henery, Funkagenda, Henrik B, Utah Saints, Kate Lawler, Matt Hardwick and Silicone Soul just to name a few.  His intricate mixing and in key track selection has been paramount in Rubix calving his name in dance for nearly a decade.   In 2010 Rubix quit DJing to peruse other professional endeavours but has recently returned from the far east with a new borne passion for deep house, tech and all things in-between.
