We are continuing our FOUR series w/ Jonas Woehl, Pysh, Renga Weh and Robin Schellenberg. Jonas Woehl's track 'Nova' is focusing on a deep low end which slightly reveals an arpeggiator supported by straight techno drums. As the name already might tell, 'Ritmo' by Pysh is a melodic techno groover. He's using a repetitive melody backuped by wide and flying pads followed by deep vocal shouts. Renga Weh has created a mystic journey where you never know the destiny.

PREMIERE : Christian Bonori - State Of Mind (Citizen Kain Remix)[Yoshitoshi Recordings]

Christian Bonori made his Yoshitoshi debut back in 2016 with 'Unruliness,' a record that, true to its name, was a devastating force in the club and one of Sharam's secret weapons. While that record was a techno powerhouse, the Italian producer returns to Yoshitoshi with the State of Mind EP, a change of course for him that features two deeper cuts and a terrific remix from Frenchman Citizen Kain.

The title track is dark and dubby with plenty of twists and turns, making it a fine, modern house track. Don't let the deep vibe of 'State of Mind' fool you - it's a real builder that can create some epic moments on the floor. Citizen Kain joins the Yoshitoshi family with a heavy remix of the tune, turning the track into a peak time club demon with a techno meets nu-disco flavor. 'Berlin Atmosphere' is more straight-up deep house, with floating chord stabs and a laid back, shuffling groove that hearkens back to the deep, early Yoshitoshi sound. The EP is another fine showing from the label and a great addition to the catalogue, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The head and label maker of Amber & Amber Blue Recordings is back on his own imprint and all good things are known to be 3. So now appears the last part of the Nanobot releases. "Nanobot" has been maturing on the hard disk for some time and now sees the light of day in the third part. After the melodic Part 1 on Amber Blue and the Special with the Touchtalk Remix, "Nanobot" will now be released in a third part, following the motto "Forward Ever - Backward Never".

This rather represents the more technoid part, whereby given by the original, surely all 3 remixes are more in the melodic techno direction. In any case, however, it is going forward and certainly geared only to the dancefloor.

The blocking tip here forms Futur-E. He has made a name for himself with many releases on globally known labels in a very short time and delivers a real highlight with his "Nanobot" interpretation. In nothing below, Christian Michael and Cattaree join in and complete with their equally great versions this release and the Nanobot series perfectly. You should definitely listen, play or buy.

Heinrich & Heine - Nanobot (Christian Michael Remix) Snippet

The latest release from Solid Stone’s Phenomena imprint welcomes Banana Cat to the label for their debut single. Hailing from Boston, Kyle Pike and Elan Rochbert make up the Banana Cat  production duo. Operating in the creative space between house and techno has done wonders for the duos DJ career, earning them spots at some of the city’s trendiest venues as well as festival gigs around the United States. Now embarking on their first official release, the duo present their debut single ‘Derecho’ alongside a remix from Solid Stone. 

The original mix begins with muted kicks rising out of a stormy backdrop, sizzling with anticipation as percussive waves and machine gun beats push momentum forward. Dark and foreboding yet melodic and tranquil, it’s an instant mood setter, transporting even the most diserning listener into a unique sonic space. With free flowing aesthetics and attention to detail at a premium, the main break elevates the mood further through evocative synths and crunchy electronics, providing the ultimate contrast before serving up one final euphoric rush. 

Rounding out the release and providing the lone interpretation of ‘Derecho’ is Phenomena label boss Solid Stone. The Canadian artist follows up his well received ‘Monsoon’ EP along with a remix for Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic to begin the year. Once again operating at a creative peak, Solid Stone maintains the tough, punchy ethos of the original while advancing the melodic narrative in a less distinct manner. It’s redolent rhythms and glacial pads unite in a perfect sonic marriage, while a cinematic break fully saturates your pleasure centres before melting down into a tasteful drop. It rounds out a superb Phenomena debut from Banana Cat, who have staked their claim as a production duo to watch in 2019.

Born in Mexico City, Just No Lies is a DJ/Producer based in Montreal. He brings to the stage a style that merges progressive sounds, deep melodies and techno beats, that express his passion for electronic music of all sorts.
