AMIKO is a alternative indie band formed out of melbourne containing the following members: - drums- James Parsons - bass- Michael Gibson - guitar & backing vocals- Jay Claessen - vocals & rhythym guitar- Brad Gruber.
AMIKO formed late 2014 with the intent of creating melodic funky tunes while still maintaning a heavier feel.

Born and raised in Barbados and now living in Australia, Alexander Mills has been entertaining international audiences with his unique blend of acoustic folk and pop infused with a little bit of rock.  During his career, Alex has opened for Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds at the Barbados Jazz Festival, has toured Ontario, and performed in cities like New York, Nashville, and London.  He has also graced the stage at the Virgin Holidays Music Festival in Barbados.

Over the years, Alex has surrounded himself with the music industries brightest minds.  He has recorded with multi-Grammy winning producer and engineer Neal Cappellino, who was worked with stars such as Vince Gill, Darius Rucker, Dolly Parton, and Brad Paisley.  Alex has also collaborated with Grammy nominated songwriter Amanda Williams (written songs for Garth Brooks and George Jones). Alex’s focus on live performance skills has led to him learning from one of the world’s top live music producers, Tom Jackson (Taylor Swift, Band Perry).  He has also collaborated with well-known Caribbean talents such as DJ Bubbles (producer for Rupee) and producer Chris Allman.

When he isn’t writing songs or playing guitar, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and son.  He loves skateboarding and watching television shows like Game of Thrones, Ghost Adventures, and Narcos.  Alex is also an avid reader citing Tribe of Mentors by Tim Ferris and Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk as two of his personal favorites.

        By his late teens Christian was all ready making his mark as session percussion muso around town when he was asked to play congas with a international Techno DJ in a night club called froot loop in st Kilda and that was a life changing experience. 
  From this time on he would begin to build a home studio so he could perform live and record his own music . As the electronica movement was still a under ground sub culture around the world it was hard to get gigs but by the beginning of 1991 it was growing at a rapid rate.
 Then in February of 1992 Christian with a group of friends took electronica outdoors to the Brisbane Ranges behind Colac in Victorias north west region.This was the first outdoor Dance party in Australia and the three hundred people who attended it would be the first to experience what would later become the world renowned Earthcore. The name came from his own production company Core lnc and he added earth for the outdoors and you have Earthcore .

 Records in 1995.
  As well as having gigs here and overseas were he would play live or DJ with his continued his involvement in Earthcore and the local underground club scene. 
 The tours included the biggest events on earth like Love Parade, Tribal Gathering, Burning Man, Cream Fields, Lolapalosa, just to name a few. 
 Then he started his own record in 1997 label called Walos Wax named after his farther who had passed away 1996.
 In 1999 a close friend Ollie Bobit need a to use a 70s bar Christian had found on local throw out for his new hip hop shop called Obese Records in Prahran . As well as being a finalist in the DMC championships in 98 99 00, placing in the top 5 twice, Christian knew that one day Oz hip hop would stand on its own so when Ollie sold his shop to Shaq he continued to push for local hip hop acts to be recorded and all ready having his own he helped Shaq to start Obese Records who signed a Adelaide group called Hill Top Hoods and rest is Austrialian Hip Hop history as they say.
 After the 2000 Earthcore which went for 7 days and 7 nights and took nine months and 16 hour days 7 days a week to organized, Christian finally took a long long rest and finally left Earthcore in 2001 nine years after he put the first out door event during this time he made the desion to go back to his first due love... Music. 
 Ever since then he has over 45 albums, countless single remixes covering styles like drum & bass dub trance 4x4 and techno with over 7 million downloads not counting the millions more of shared files and not including the countless world tours playing at the world biggest music festivals to hundreds of thousands of people.
 Then in early noughts he was signed to MP3.com for music distributions world wide. Myspace came along not long after and in a short time had become friends with some of the favorite artists whom he remixed some of there earlier tracks which they loved.
   Then Youtube offered a licensing deal which he signed allowing his visual art side to be opened up which was the game changer as now he could have 100% total control over his art.
   With this in mind his vast conections, it allowed him to make remixes of his favourite artists like Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Maddona, Simple Minds ect.         
 With over 65 music videos and 30,000 hits on Youtube he continues to produce fresh innovating music videos which in 2012 he picked 4 NME Music awards for best Drum and Bass Album, Music Video,Track and New Artists.   
   He gives thanks to good mates who are no long with us namely Dad ,little Jon, Greg Choco Tamiangle , Danny Wedger Nevel , Paul Hesy Hester the crowded house is empty with out u mate and Dave Beasly and to all the people how he has meet over the years
