So I am a new listener. I was kind of disappointed with one. I thought that this episode would be a deep personal point of view into sex addiction. Like I was looking forward to delving deep into the definition of this diagnosis and how it fits or doesn't all fit his issues. What differs it from indulging in sex as something you enjoy but is not controlling your life(which is what you do) vs a constant compulsory feeling of having to have sex in order to be able to breath, so much that it affects your daily life(which is what he deals with). What makes it an addiction for him? What made him notice he had a problem? What made him seek help? How much of this help he is seeking is working? As a black man, what are his experiences with health professionals on issues with mental health? How long has he had this addiction? What are the pros and cons of his therapy? What is the stigma around it and how does he navigate it? How is this addiction affecting his daily life(relationships, job, adulthood, so on)? Who does he  feel he can trust and talk with, if any? What would he like us, especially the black community to be more thougtful of in terms of sex addictions?  I feel like he clearly wasn't ready to be interviewed about his addiction, so the tables turned pretty quickly to you and your sexual practice/experiences. As the interviewer I had hoped you would direct the conversation more, maybe less on his explicit practices and more focus on his addiction, because he was very good at deflecting- and you fell for it. Especially when he asked you those pretty exposing questions but you didn't ask him the same back. And frankly I was very annoyed when he started playing therapist and projected his issue on you, diagnosing you with an addiction, like WHAT? I thought it wasn't that easy to be diagnosed with, and he clearly know there's a stigma around it(which is why he's anonymous), so why would he put you in that situation, just cause you enjoy having sex but it doesn't control you but he clearly doesnt and it controls all his actions?? I had hope you would have shut that down quickly. Anyway those were my thoughts.
