i’ve decided to spotlight one artist per show, giving them a platform to talk about whatever has been on their mind lately, asking about what has shaped and still shapes them, hence creating a little bit more closeness between the artist and the listening human. 
my first guest is @omari.amour
their main theme at this point of their life is the transformation of pain into love. love is their vision, love is their passion and their upcoming album >>BLEEDING LOVE<< (can‘t wait🌟) was inspired by their new path. 

intro track >>COSMIC INJURY<< by @theoretic__ based in brooklyn, theoretic is a Black, queer, DJ & producer, and also an educator who teaches the same to youth throughout NYC. by day, they are an anti-oppression consultant, & by night they help people express their full selves by sweating out their stress on the dance floor. They started the monthly party series @rhythmnationbk in late 2021 that features Black gender-expansive, trans, and/or women-identifying DJs. theoretic approaches the decks with the purpose of freeing your body, spirit, and consciousness through global forms of Black electronic music. Currently, they're planning to release an EP in early august that will consist mainly of club-ready tracks, all with the goal of creating a sonic oasis that aims to nourish your nerves & expand your mind.

an NYC-based DJ and producer who has spent years in the club, greatly informing their sound. they combine their penchant for percussion and bass with nostalgic samples in both their DJ sets & music production. PlayPlay's music is inspired by what they grew up listening to - 90s club anthems, jungle, breakbeat hardcore, industrial, classic house, techno and old school hip-hop. they have released music on labels such as  @sorry_records , Knightwerk, Worst Behavior, @jukebouncewerk and  @fperecs , and also recently released a collaborative project with C Powers under the moniker PowerPlay.
