Orlando, Florida based dream pop duo Station Agent is a beacon of light in a world full of darkness. Station Agent’s folk influences and shoegaze flavors intertwine to create some of the most inventive and original modern indie around today. Justyn Philips & Ashley Christine are both musical partners, and they are no strangers to the music scene, generating huge responses in both their hometown of Orlando, and in Los Angeles.

That’s only the beginning.  With Station Agent, Justyn & Ashley look to redefine what indie pop can be. Their sound is young and fresh, yet mature and self-aware. Pulling on a wide range of influences, from Lindsey Buckingham and Beach House, to the alternative folk of First Aid Kit and Fleet Foxes, to indie rock like Slowdive, Young The Giant, Death Cab For Cutie, & Wild Nothing.

Station Agent isn’t rooted in one sound and one direction; instead it’s an ever-evolving musical journey, exploring new sounds and ideas with every song. The heart of Station Agent will always be constant, and that is the love that brings life to this musical duo. Justyn & Ashley’s voices blend together in and incredible and unique way, no two voices sound more made for each other’s than theirs. Their partnership is music symbiosis at it’s purest. Ashley is a living, breathing muse for Justyn’s accomplished songwriting. Her strength and heart through adversity has influenced every aspect of this record

Justyn’s inspiration for Ashley is equally present, singing with such effortless passion that can only be brought on by the love she shares with her musical soul mate. Station Agent is a modern love story, a fairy tale that isn’t afraid to show the dark sides of life to make the light, love, and happiness even more amazing.
