This mix series is my attempt to delve deep into some of my favorite artists to learn about their music style and career. 
Gryffin is one of my all-time favorites! I remember listening to his early remixes of popular songs and it's crazy to see how that propelled his career. It's inspiring to me that the guy is an engineer and before he became popular he was just making music because that was his passion. His story really resonates with me because I have no plans of making DJing my career and all the mixing and producing I do is purely out of love for music, though I like to imagine it's not impossible this thing I do as a hobby today could turn into something more in the future :)

I haven't released a feels mix in over a year, but I'm finally back with another one!  This is my first feels mix ever that consists mostly of my own personal edits, so I hope y'all enjoy!

Love is a journey filled with many ups and downs.  Along this journey, you will find many roadblocks telling you to turn around and choose a different path. let me be pretentious for a lil bit, I felt like I've been frustrated a lot recently because I can't slow down, I won't let myself take a break. I thought of this idea as a way to slow down and calm myself. there's something about slowing down music that makes it feel so sedative and calming. I think about time a lot and it's interesting to think that music is like a 3 min snapshot of feelings and emotion but you can twist and bend it and speed it up and slow it down and it can completely change the way those emotions feel. anyways the idea behind this mix is that sometimes things just sound better slow, and I wanted to represent that in a mix that's like a weird VHS tape playing in an empty dreamy space where the music just washes over you and then fades off in the vast emptiness you're in. maybe it'll be exactly what you needed or maybe it'll sound like a hellish eternity idk, but thanks for listening and coming to my ted talk <3
