We all met in Lockdown 2020. Where we were introduced through Noah Shayne, after entering a WORLDWIDE 	ONLINE CREATIVES competition. 
BESU entered with a Production piece. 
OROKU entered with a Solo Drum piece.
JC entered with a Poetry piece.
KUEI-LIN entered with a Digital Art piece.

After seeing the linked similarities from all of us, Noah approached us through a Zoom call to introduce us to each other, and the rest is history.

And to make things more crazy, only Oroku and JC have met in person to date.

To come up with our sound, we spent hours in real time online studio sessions.
Toying around with sounds and ideas, to come up with our Original, Bass heavy, melody driven sound that crosses genres. Attacking the norm of music, to bring out the LIVE performance beasts.

Not wanting to fit into one sound, we want to make music that makes your head nod, heart pump and lungs hurt.

Being made up of 3 Japanese kids and a Canadian, all who have spent the majority of their lives in either Australia or NZ, we feel our cultural mix, will bring us to make music that can hit all people in the feels.

The reason behind the masks, JC was born with a badly noticeable birth mark on his face, which has always hindered his want to perform publicly. With that said, the rest of the boys jumped at the chance to help him hit the live stage, and agreed that Masks were the perfect way to make it happen. Bringing on the Birth of BLKLIST.
