Future jazz, house, minimal, breaks... that's what Madezh cooked for us on this 13th episode of our podcast series! The Croatian legend played solid records for the listening pleasure, perfectly matching with this summer vibes.

Madezh is an open minded DJ who is constantly evolving and does not solely stick to genres like techno, house, etc... but defines music as what is good and what is bad by leaving it to the emotions of what the crowd is feeling at that certain moment on the dance-floor.

His career began in 2002 by DJing at clubs and events later to become part of the crew of Underground Control between the years of 2006-2011. In 2013 he founded with some friends "Cruise Split", and played an integral part in restarting a somewhat sleepy scene in Split.

This is part of a 5 or so hours warm-up set before Jan Kruger at 93 feet east for the new party Belong.

I used this opportunity to play music I don't usually get a chance to but enjoy collecting. It's a small cut from the set, but I tried to choose an earlier part of the recording which included ambient/downtempo as well as a shift toward more beat-driven styles for different listening.

Some of the transitions were not as hoped (one record proved too elusive to mix :P) but I enjoyed the set as a whole so thought to upload a piece.
