Clemens Rumpf, a DJ and producer from Hanover, has been deeply embedded in the music scene for over 30 years. With his passion for Deep House, Afro, Latin, Soul, Funk, and Disco, he has made a name for himself, collaborating with renowned labels such as Reelgroove, Delicious Garden, and Warehouse Records. For over a decade, he has also successfully run his own label, Deep Village Records / Deep Village Digital Records.
His DJ career began in 1993 at the first underground Acid House parties in North Thuringia. From 1996 onwards, he worked as a resident DJ alongside Timo Jahns every weekend in his hometown, particularly at the legendary "Club Sputnik," which later became "Club 2010" at the Old Weavery in Nordhausen. In the following years, Clemens, along with his DJ partner Patrick Börsch, organized the famous "Theater Casino" house parties in Nordhausen. They developed a unique event concept with changing themes, live percussion, and consistently thrilled their audience every month.
Since 2012, Clemens has been a resident DJ at the Space Age Club, also known as Glitzerkeller, in Hanover, and regularly performs at events in and around the city.

Rhythm Plate consist of Matt Rhythm and Ant Plate who hail from the beautifully backward peak district town of Matlock. They first met at school where it quickly became apparent that they had the same make of orthopaedic shoe, meaning they quite literally got off on the right foot. This, combined with their mutual love of shoplifting, warm real ale and bad puns meant that they were soon finalising a plan for musical stardom.

Their recording career initially began in Plate's parents caravan in Bridlington (motto: if the music's rockin', don't bother knockin') but they soon outgrew this and moved into a multi purpose, state of the art allotment shed much nearer Matlock.

Their reputation as musical visionaries soon began to spread due to their infamous 'Derbyshire cubs and brownies DJ tour' which culminated in an all-dayer at Starkholmes village hall. This fact alone would have made the front page of the Matlock Miracle Newspaper were it not for one young raver drinking too much Kia-Ora and having to be stomach pumped. Early attempts at pop stardom were hampered by their crippling tourettes syndrome, however an intensive course of hypnotherapy soon sorted this problem out. The only problem now is that whenever they hear a certain Todd Terry hi-hat pattern they have a full on relapse.

After conquering the bourgeoning pub scene in Matlock these boompty bumpkins decided to think a bit bigger - releasing on such deep house heavyweights as Mantis, Winding Road, DiY, Lost My Dog, Bluem, Flat & Round and Procreation. As well as this they have also remixed/ruined tunes by respected artists such as Mark Ronson, The Frames, Amp Fiddler, Atjazz, Inland Knights, Lawnchair Generals, BRS, Brooks and Pete Dafeet.

These productions have been well received occasionally appearing on BBC Radio 1 and compilations such as Groove Armada 'Another Late Night', Ministry of Sound 'Chillout Ibiza', Hed Kandi 'Beach House 2' and also on the TV show 'CSI Miami' despite the fact that all of them are recorded at 126bpm and blatantly use the same kick drum.

They also started a monthly deep house club night 'DETUNE' in Chesterfield of all places, which continued strong for four years: quite amazing when you hear some of the drivel they used to play.

Should the need arise they also DJ elsewhere, using the Transpeak Bus service to carry their much sought after cassingle collection to gigs. Expect house, disco, funk, soul, waltz, forgotten pop tracks and whatever else they can find in charity shops.

At present Plate sells deep house insurance and Rhythm is a dancer.

BIO:
Gioele Giacopelli as JWL is an Italian DJ and producer. He began to love music since he was only a kid, thanks to the domestic environment. His 360 degrees musical groundwork has been settled first by his parents (dad is a bass player and mum a great singer) who introduced him to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Pino Daniele and others from the 70’s and 80’s. When he started “walking with his own legs” and so creating a proper knowledge of different musical genres and artists, JWL discovered to have a big feeling for the Afro-American music culture (Soul, R’n’B, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, and so on) losing himself into the local hip hop scene. 2000 marks the first JWL's approach to the dance culture: he began to listen to some Masters At Work's productions and he was delighted about that sonority called House. Afterward, he bought his first console and started to collect vinyl records. In the following years, Gioele enriched his dance culture attending constantly at Red Zone Club in Perugia and it was fundamental for his growth. In 2005 he setted up his own studio and started producing music, gradually stepping in the Perugia underground scene, supported by various DJ's, among which Ricky L and Sauro Cosimetti. 2011 marks for JWL his first digital release of his track “Hot Love” on the American label "Plus Plus". In September of 2012 he remixed Double Beat's track "The Sense Of Truth", released on "Soul Shift Music". After that, he made a track called “The Whistle Track” released on “The Yellow Drumachine EP” (Adult Dance Music) and in February of 2013 he made a remix of Joy Lee and Speakdeep's track "Geist", out on “Mind Your Hate”. JWL’s remix of Joy Lee’s track “On The Road”, released in November 2013 on “Sexonwax”, has preceded the turning point in his career, his first vinyl release on the Umbria-based label “Fortezza Records” with a track called “Little Theme”. This track, belongs to a banging four tracker EP featuring artists such as Mass Prod and Rufus, Giovanni Ferretti and Speakdeep. This EP was supported by a lot of Italian and international artists, for instance Mister G and Boyd Jarvis. In June 2015, JWL signed another important vinyl release on the UK label “Phatway Traxx”. This EP named “The Disco Cuts EP”, was first in many charts and the JWL’s track “Again’n’Again, contained on the b-side, it was supported by big artists like Ben Ufo. In 2016, he became part of the Berlin-based label “Soundscapes Records/Escape Series” and signed a four tracker EP in collaboration with the Tuscany musician and producer “INNO”. This amazing EP will be released on vinyl in the next months. JWL has performed in many important clubs such as “KaterBlau” (Berlin), “Red Zone Club/B-Side” (Perugia), “Serendipity/Rec Room“ (Foligno), “DOT Club” and important festivals as “Collective”, “SoundOf”, “Terni Factory”, “Interleave” and so on.
