I chose 2 recent unfinished tracks, that I had considered layering prior to the disquiet prompt… so I did just that, I set up 2 channels one for each track, one slowed by 10% to roughly match the longer track, I simply adjusted levels for each and had a shared bus channel with additional eq and reverb(s), this in turn joins the originals in the master, which also has some lofi fx and more(!) reverb… recorded the output. Back in September 2025 on the Loopy Pro Forum, Paul (@pbelgium) posted a 4 bar acoustic guitar loop ‘Free For All’ and invited contributions using this starter that could be cut up and mangled as anyone pleased.

A further contribution featuring horns and trumpets came from @McD.

I’ve used both samples with various manipulations in a range of settings to end up with a composition framing Rhodes piano and fretless bass solos. Hope you enjoy the journey. Thanks for listening.
