I have been a fan of music all my life, love all kinds of music but in the past 10 yrs I have fallen in love with the BLUES, being from St. Louis, Mo. which has a rich history of blues music, there are lots of local blues musicians around town and you can see them play any nite of the week... a few of my favorite local bands are BOTTOM UP BLUES GANG, FUNKY BUTT BRASS BAND, BRIAN CURRAN, SOULARD BLUES BAND, MELISSA NEELS BAND and some national bands are , HOLLY BENTON.... I am trying to get into the management part of the music biz..... Just recently i have discovered a Singer/songwriter in Sweden. She goes by Magpie, an amazing singer, her voice is like no on i have ever heard before. She sings effortlessly and just puts such raw emotions into the songs...

Winner of Detroit Music Awards Best Blues/R&B Recording 2001 the self produced CD "Thornetta Davis Covered Live at the Music Menu".

Thornetta’s alternative rock cd "Sunday Morning Music" released on the Seattle based label Sub Pop in 1996 to rave reviews, including an "A" rating in Entertainment Weekly Magazine.
  
Her song "Cry" was featured on the hit HBO tv show "The Sopranos”.   Her recording of "Little Drummer Boy" was also used on the "Sopranos".

Thornetta’s Christmas EP cd "Remember Love on Christmas Day" was released in 2008

Thornetta performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in July 2014 to a packed house at Detroit Orchestra Hall.

Thornetta has managed her career for 20 years and has built a large fan base not only in the States but all over the world especially Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Canada  playing festivals and concert halls and clubs.

Thornetta has opened up for, shared the stage with and or recorded with many legendary Blues, R&B, and Rock Artists, such as B.B. King, Gladys Knight, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger and Kid Rock.   She also was requested by the late Ray Charles to open for him twice.      

She is currently promoting her third full-length original cd "Honest Woman" released Sep 2016.
